Lugar bello para visitar

Uno de los lagos más lindos para remar y hacer campamento.
Me quedé dis días y luego volví.
Lo único que opinaria es el poco mantenimiento de la ruta para llegar, la de ripio.
Mucho serrucho y pozos en subidas difíciles, como para romper el auto , pero bueno despacio lo hice
Volveré
Me encanto.
Hay camping, cervecerías, alquiler de kajak, fogones , cabalgatas...en fin de todo.
Muy lindo lugar lo recomiendo.

Increíble.

Espectacular la experiencia. INOLVIDABLE. Los guías Pedro y Sebastian super amables y en nuestro caso fuimos con niños de 9 y 11 años que fueron en los kayak con ellos y la pasaron super, un trato excelente y responsable. Además las delicias caseras que te invitan en las paradas como el dulce de frambuesas con scons o el almuerzo que es una verdadera sorpresa, es todo lindo y pensado para que se disfrute todo el tiempo que dura.
Creo que es recomendable llevar gorra, y protector solar .

Remar en el paraíso

Fuimos con mi mujer y mis tres hijos. No teníamos mucha experiencia en los remos y la verdad que tanto Pedro como Francisco explican todo muy bien y además los kayak que tienen son de carrera no hace falta saber remar andan bárbaro!
Pasamos todo el día, primero remas hasta una playa desierta donde los chicos preparan la comida (muchas cosas que te dan las hace la mama de ellos) todo casero y riquísimo!!!
Para los que quieren se hace un trekking chico y se sube a ver la vista increíble del lago Epuyen. Después se vuelve a remar y se cruza el lago hasta otra playa chiquita donde hay una cascada y el color del agua es increíble! Siempre te podes meter al agua en cualquiera de las dos paradas. Después te hacen el té con café y unas de locos!!! (También las hace la mamá)
Desde la última playa se regresa a puerto patriada. Ellos ven siempre como está el grupo y si alguien se cansa se frena a descansar.
El día que nos toco fue soñado le metimos muy buen ritmo de remada. Mis hijos quedaron enloquecidos las edades de ellos 18, 16, 14

Brilliant Value Day on the Lago

We had a fantastic experience with Pedro and his father Miguel. For 1800ARS per person (~USD 30 at current exchange rate), we spent the whole day kayaking to different spots on Lago Epuyen, and the delicious steak and avocado (or egg for vegetarian option) sandwiches, homemade scones and jam and mate were all included! Pedro also picked us up and dropped us off at Hostel Luz Clara (which I believe is an arrangement specific to that hostel). Both he and his father were a lot of fun to spend time with, and made everyone in the group feel at ease on and off the water. The kayaking was hard work on the way back as the wind picked up, but still manageable for the whole group, which included a variety of ages and physiques. Highly recommended experience.

Excelente dia pasamos ! El lugar espectacular . Pedro y Francisco muy serviciales y atentos a todo. Impecable el almuerzo a orillas del lado con fueguito prepararon sándwiches de carne con palta , tomate y pepinos frescos acompañado de pan casero y hasta postre , frambuesas exquisitas
La travesía es larga pero con descanso entre los trayectos . En el último tramo mates con scons y mermelada caseros
Lo repetiría
Felicitaciones a Pedro y Francisco por la buena onda que le ponen es un valor agregado

Una aventura diferente llena de belleza, paz y calidez humana

Una combinación perfecta para quien quiera hacer algo diferente durante sus vacaciones. La belleza del lago rodeado de imponentes montañas y la increíble transparencia del agua que permite ver las rocas a varios metros de profundidad, la sensación de aventura al navegar por él, la paz que se siente y la calidez de sus anfitriones hacen de esta actividad una opción 100% recomendable.
No es necesario tener experiencia en kayak.
La travesía incluye un excelente almuerzo a mitad del recorrido con comida casera que Pedro y Francisco preparan en el lugar, y luego de otro recorrido en kayak una merienda con scones y mermelada caseros, acompañados con unos mates, ¡todo exquisito y de primera calidad!
Desde las 11 hs de la mañana hasta las 19 hs aproximadamente, son unas 8 hs en que se disfruta el día a pleno y queda guardado para siempre en la memoria esta experiencia diferente y placentera. Además, es muy económica...
¿Qué más se puede pedir?

Fantastic!!!!

The kayak trip started at 11:00 and ended at 19:00, it was the best I ever had!! The guide Pedro is very professional and I felt safe with him all the time. The peddling was quite hard work because of the wind and waves but it’s totally worth it. We stopped twice for food, swimming and relaxing. The food is good and vegan/vega option if you’d like. It’s better to book the tour directly with Pedro in stead of with the tourist office grado42, it will safe you 15USD!
Amazing, perfect, fantastic!!! Thank you Pedro!

Fantastic experience and day out

Had an absolutely brilliant day with Pedro and his family on Lago Epuyen. We were picked up by Pedro in El Bolson and brought to his home where he gathered the equipment, all of which was top quality. Spent time here chatting to his family before heading to the lake. We kayaked to a small beach where we had a steak lunch which was delicious. Also, the vegetarians in the group were catered to as well. After lunch we hiked to a viewpoint overlooking the beautiful lake before setting off in the kayak to a different beach where we stopped again. Here, we sat in the sun and ate delicious homemade scones and jam (made by his mother). Honestly, they were amazing. We also got to sample some mate here. Before we started our journey back we walked to a waterfall. The kayak back to the start was very tough as we were kayaking into the wind but Pedro was always in control and we eventually made it back. I would highly recommend this excursion to everyone. Great day out. Thank you Pedro!

Fantastic Day Out!

We went kayaking with Pedro, his brother and sister and had a fantastic day out! The trip started with an easy kayak to a beach where we walked to a view point - when we got back pedro cooked up a storm of eggs, tomato, lettuce, cheese, zucchini, avocado and steak to put into buns for lunch. This was super delicious! 2 of us are vegetarian and we loved the bbq'd zucchini. Our friends who ate the steak loved it too. Really tasty. Frozen rasberry for dessert. Really thoughtful and tasty!

We continued and kayaked from there towards another beach. The winds picked up so it was tougher. Walked to a waterfall and had Pedro's mum's homemade scones, absolutely unbelievable - so so good - we are Irish and they reminded us a lot of scones at home. Paired with Pedro's mum's homemade jam made from fruit from their garden. We chilled out here for a bit sipping mate and munching on the delicious scones.

We then kayaked back to shore which was tough in parts too. Pedro was a fantastic guide, always there to help. Really passionate about what he does and his family were equally really friendly and helpful too. Definitely recommend this trip during your time in this area. Really is a great experience and day out :) thank you for a fantastic time!
