We really enjoyed our morning diving with Mathios and his little dog, Skipper, off beautiful Skiathos. Mathios is very relaxed but professional which we really appreciate. Even though we have both qualified as Advanced Open Water divers, we are also very happy to be guided during our dives - and Mathios is very happy to work with his customer's comfort level.

Manthos was an excellent instructor, who gave uncomplicated directions. He made me feel secure, and safe on my first ever undersea experience.
Looking forward to hopefully completing my PADI course with him on my next visit with him next year.

A really fantastic experience.
We were a large group of three teenagers scuba diving. We also had a few extra children snorkelling off the boat.
Manthos was a very thorough teacher explaining everything in detail. It was a very calm and fascinating trip the teenagers were hooked, and booked again later the next week!

It was an unforgettable memory! Definitely the highlight of our stay in Skiathos! The teacher taught us the rules we had to keep in mind for our first diving experience. We really enjoyed out time underwater as he was always besides us making sure we were ok and that everything was running smoothly. We got to see the mesmerizing underwater world, groups of fish swimming together, purple ones, some colorful ones! Furthermore we had the opportunity to see a starfish and black sea sponges! He also took us underwater pictures! I undoubtedly recommend the Dolphin diving center in Skiathos for an extraordinary experience!

It was the first diving experience we ever had and it was the best! The instructor was very clear and very carefull to make sure we all understood the equipment and the rules and he made sure we had an awsome time.I can't even describe the amazing views you get underwater...it's just breathtaking.
It is an experience you simply must try in Skiathos, it was more than just diving, it's a memory I will never forget.

Mathew Is a very relaxed and informative instructor. He held my attention with all the beginners instructions.

Fantastic first time experience scuba diving with my 14 year old son.
Manthos is extremely knowledgable and talked us through the whole set up and equipment before taking the boat out to do the dive which was just brilliant.
He also took some underwater footage with my camera which was perfect.
I highly recommend this diving school if you are looking to do a scuba dive in skiathos.
The dive site is perfect and short boat ride away. Once underwater the visibility was very clear around the reef with hundreds of fish.
Me and my son both really enjoyed this experience and Manthos was great throughout.
5 minute walk from bus stop 12 down to the beach.

The whole experience was amazing, as a diver i can say we got the best possible service and i learned alot of new things from his experience, very professional and we felt safe in the water from the beginning to the very end. He even got us the cheapest ride back to the hotel.

I had my first dive in three years due to COVID preventing holidays in the sun (only my 17th dive).
I was very rusty to say the least but Mathos was very accommodating and went through setting up my kit along with a knowledge check.
Had a bit of a moment when I got in the water...nerves/anxiety and just getting used to it all again. Mathos saw this and came over, he was amazing, calmed me down and we descended together. Just needed that helping hand to get me over that initial wobble!
Mathos runs a VERY professional set up and rightly so is very safety conscious but in a friendly way. His pre dive briefing was precise and easy to understand...a nice person with a gentle way about him.
Prices very reasonable, I had one dive with all kit for €55. Thank you!

It costs 50 euros a dive. 215 euros for 5 dives. You dive from a boat.

Yes, if you want to do a beginners dive and your husband an advanced dive, you will be on the same trip but not in the same group.

Can you just snorkle rather than diving ?

On most of the dive sites the boat is moored up in shallow sheltered coves, so snorkeling isn't a problem. Ask one of the divers for a few breaths on his breathing equipment so you can experience what it would be like. I've never once met a diver who would refuse. We all love the sport and would encourage anyone to try.
If you were brave enough to try a dive, then trust me, you'd be in no better hands than those of Manthos.
can anybody who has had a beginners diving experience tell me in more detail how it was?
