Called in on a Monday night whilst in the area. They didn’t do food on Monday evenings but the landlady recommended somewhere else. She rang to check & booked us a table.
The following night we went back to eat here. Lovely food , so glad we returned. Very reasonable prices & friendly helpful locals

It was exactly as advertised, impeccably clean, friendly and I felt very safe. The host was approachable and eager to help without being overbearing. Highly recommend.

Didn’t feel like cooking after a manic day. We had the ribs and ham, egg and chips. Huge portions, beautifully cooked. We live locally so will ask for a small portion next time, Highly recommended.. give it a try. Thank you Ashley and Jill x

Lovely pub, very warm welcome and best ever pasties cooked by Ashley, the owner. I bought frozen ones to take back to Hampshire!! Well worth a visit!

Jill and Ashley are clearly passionate about making their guests feel welcome and ensure that they have everything they need for the perfect stay.
Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed.
The breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it all freshly cooked by the lovely Jill.
Both Jill and Ashley were really friendly and soon had us enjoying a night at the bar.

Fantastic room. Really comfy bed and hot shower. Everything you could need inclusing iron and ironing board and hair turbans for when you wash your hair. Really friendly welcome.

I took my dog with me and she was very welcomed.The owners are very hospitable and caring. I spent ten wonderful days and the food was first rate. The room was clean and comfortable I have only praise for the service I received.

I came for 3 days in November - my first stay in Holsworthy. I picked the King's Arms after seeing all the great reviews and they're not wrong! Ashley and Jill have been amazing hosts. The room was clean and tidy with a lovely power shower and plenty of towels. As other reviewers have said the breakfast was a highlight with fresh produce in generous portions and some of the greatest sausages I've had in a long time sourced from the local butchers. And if you need to leave early Jill can do you a takeaway for the road. The rest of the food for lunches for dinners is also lovely and the stew was excellent. I would highly recommend you stay here and explore this beautiful historic town and the nearby Atlantic highway road trip down to Newquay.
