Précision, je n'ai pas fait le Camino, mais comme beaucoup j'en ai rêvé. Alors pour ne pas avoir de regret je suis allé à St. Jacques de Compostelle et à Fisterra. Je peux comprendre l'émotion de chaque pèlerin qui arrive à Fisterra là près de la chaussure en bronze scellée dans la roche au KM 0 du Camino et au cap du Finistère. L'endroit est imprégné d'efforts, de sueur, de souffrance et de bonheur.

Grandes vistas con variada vegetación y al tratarse de marzo, afortunadamente, sin aglomeraciones. Falta algo de limpieza de papeles empeados en aseo personal, diseminados por todas partes, producto de ser el paso del Camino de Santago.

Hace dos años, en el 2019, no lo pude finalizar, por una tendinitis en el pie izquierdo. Hoy he podido llegar a Fisterra y subir al faro y ver un atardecer impresionante.

Camino Ways failed to inform me about changes in the Hotels in Abeleiroas and Cee.
At Abeleiroas the change was from Hotel Jurjo to Mazaricos, the later nor even the the town but 2 miles apart , I got the owner to transfer me to the rural hotel whereby my luggage was sitting there!
Same problem at Cee
Having a valid contract for hotels and luggage transfer and experiencing this type of problems I wonder what is the value of the services I contracted.
Exchange some emails with Camino Ways but they even failed to accept they have a problem
My background: I have logged more than 1500 miles in El Camino and worked as an hospitalero at Bercianos del Camino Real.

Si llegar a Santiago te ha sabido a poco o tienes pocos días hacer la ruta de Santiago a Finisterre es una gran idea. Bonita ruta que discurre en zonas boscosas y tramos de costa con bastantes alojamientos a lo largo de todas las etapas.

After finishing one of the Caminos (Frances, Portugal, Norte, Primitvo, etc.) it is worth to extend your trip to Fisterra if you have enough time. Galicia with green hills and forrests is just amazing and worth to extend your way to Fisterra. I walked in the beginning of September and there were not as much as pilgrims along the way compared to last 100-150 kilometers before Santiago. However, the bars and albergues along the way were almost full since there is not as much capacities in the section Santiago-Fisterra. But you are able to meet many new pilgrims that you had not meet before, because they come to Santiago on some other way.
And when reaching beach in Finisterra - do not forget to find St. James shell - this used to be the prove that you walk Camino several centuries ago.

Un buen lugar para desconectar y apreciar la naturaleza salvaje. Huele a mar y verde. Tiene muy buen sitio para poder apreciar las vistas.

Hola , queremos hacer el camino desde Santiago - finisterre en 4 etapas, teniamos pensado ir de 28 al 31 de octubre, sabeis alguna empresa que haga el traslado de maletas de un hotel a otro ? Ya que hemos pedido a unos cuantos y nos han dicho que en estas fetchas no lo hacen.

Hola, te comento que en caso de que o encuentres otra solución en Finisterre hay oficina de correos, junto al Ayuntamiento, y como siempre se han podido enviar bultos por correos, otra cosa es que no se que tal saldrá de precio, habria que preguntar en tu localidad cuanto saldria enviarlo desde Santiago a Finisterre

I am looking for places to stay along the camino from Santiago through Finisterre then to Muxia and back to Santiago. What is the best way to find accommodations and baggage transfer? Best website?

A bit more that might help. We didn't use baggage transfer but back-packed the whole way. We sent some excess gear (stuff we needed on the plane home) on to Casa Ivar in Santiago - you'll find him on the web - and collected it after Finisterre.

The trip takes about 2.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic by the Monbus. You can check the timetable and all the useful bus information in Santiago at the Galician Tourist Office at 132 rua Vilar.
