Good and friendly local guide

This private tour is superb and value for money, with a dedicated time to small group of us. We were driven along with a wagon that is spacious and comfortable for 4 of us.

Ian is friendly and knowledgeable. He is a very local guide in Cotswold and knowing beautiful villages around Cotswold well and shared with us many stories behind each historical place. Most of the time we were accompanied by him with story telling except for some free time for shopping in the market.

The plus point is he would pick you up in Oxford at your hotel on time.

Highly recommended to those small group that want to see beautiful villages and know more about Cotswold.

Frosty day in the Cotswolds

Had a wonderful experience touring villages with Ian. His stories made the area’s history come alive as he pointed out things we would have missed on our own. Just enough info with time to wander on our own. Another plus was we visited villages a larger tour coach would have been too large to manage. He was punctual, and despite having unexpected traffic detours he remained on schedule and unruffled. The best way to end our visit to London.

Fabulous day is the Cotswolds

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful day on tour with Ian in the Cotswolds. Ian is very knowledgeable and accommodating. We were very comfortable, and visited many lovely towns and stops along the way. It really was a perfect day.

Great day out in the Cotswolds

We had a wonderful day with our guide, Ian. He showed us a couple of the popular tourist spots as well as a few “hidden gems”. He was able to suggest what we could do when we had our own free time to wander and also where we could eat. We did not feel rushed and loved his stories of the people of red villages and his own theories. Highly recommend.

An excellent way to see the Cotswold that other tourist don't get to see

This was a wonderful way to see some of the small villages that the large commercial group tours out can't get to. The limited size allowed for a more leisurely pace. Ian was a fantastic guide. He was able to take on short rambles through quaint little villages and attractions such as the Burford village church that dates to before the English Civil War. It was a simple 55 minute train from Paddington Station in London to Oxford. returned to Oxford early enough (around 5:00 p.m.) that we were able to walk around the Oxford University campus, and get dinner before our 7:30 train back to London.

Great stories to make the places come alive

What a wonderful day despite the intermittent rain. Ian is very knowledgeable and obviously proud to live in the area. The villages are so pretty and Ian's stories about the various places we visited made them so much more interesting. Going in a small group meant that we had more personal attention.

Highly recommended!

Excellent experience!

Our small group tour was the perfect way to see the Cotswolds in the short time we had. Because of the limited group size we were able to visit some smaller villages that prohibit large coaches. Ian was very knowledgeable, fun, and nice. We visited a nice mix of tiny and slightly larger villages and had opportunities to shop and eat. I highly recommend Undiscovered Cotswolds!
