not sure about bbq s because the area belong to yorkshire water so this may not be permited you can try yorkshire water in bradford for more details. i feel this is not allowed on their land. but you could try thrushcross reservoir higher up the valley where can sail boats and go kayaking and swimming. from the north bank near the village of west end near blubberhouses. take the road from the a59 up to west end turn left for thrushcross some 3 miles away going north.

No they don't. Certain areas I would advise you should, as there are bits of road, which I would put my dog on the lead for safety.
