Lovely walk with great views along the cliffs from Sewerby. Cafe and toilets available with parking. Beach is nice and can go exploring in the woods nearby.

Great place for a brisk walk, some fossils to be found and not overcrowded. Worth the drive from Manchester UK.

Absolutely stunning.
Wanted to visit for a while. It lived up to my expectations. Lovely walk through the nature reserve with my dog, then to the beach whist my children played on the beach. Its stunning, quiet abd picturesque. Simply beautiful.
Cafe is really well priced.

Nice little beach and woodland area with a few marked out circular walks. Pay and display car park, cafe and toliets mean you can stay for a good few hours. Good use of a one way system when driving in and out means that you never meet anyone coming the other way.
The cafe does only take cash and some of the paths are not very well signposted but well worth a trip.

We wanted somewhere to spend a few hours whilst the weather wasn’t good and found this amazing little gem tucked away. Plenty of rocks for the kids to explore and use to build with and it has an area where there are some rock pools.
Wonderful place for young families and the car park was only 10 minutes away, it was down a steep slope so be prepared if you have a buggy.
Sea is very cold in April though.

A lovely quiet beach away from the hoards of nearby seaside towns. Car park on site (pay and display) and also a takeaway cafe and toilets.
The short sloped walk to the beach was lovely and passes through a nature reserve. The beach itself is quite rocky with lots of pebbles but suitable for kids and dogs.
You can easily walk along the coastline or up on the cliff tops. An interesting and ancient site- highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Fantastic location. Lovely clear sea to swim in. Great beach to chill and soak up some rays. Nice walks nearby. Cheap car park.

We managed to go just as the tide was going out so the beach was pretty thin! However we went hunting for fossils and found none 🤣 the pebbles are beautiful in this area lots of holes and interest but no elusive anomites …. There is a cafe & toilets in the carpark as with most car parks in the area you can use a phone app (they seemed to be mi permit or RingGo - can’t remember what this was). There is also a trail round the top and you can see holograms of what used to happen by use of an app ‘what was here’ probably better if you download in advance as we couldn’t get it to work (we didn’t have a clue what we were doing!) also beware of walking under the cliffs quite a few pebbles fell whilst we were there and there was evidence of mud slides…

Parked up, then walked down, thru the wooded area. Bit of a steep hill, but saw the sea & white large pebbles. Scenery was nice from beach.
