High Lodge is nice to visit. The setting is very nice, the playgrounds for all ages are great too.
The restaurant has a good selection and prices are what you would expect.

My only complaint is the parking cost. I paid £9 for over 2 hours but less than 3, I felt that was too much considering most people visiting have to travel some distance to get there.

The cafe was really expensive nearly £4 for a very tiny piece of cake. I ordered a gluten free toasties which I waited ages for they said they had to serve everyone else first so they didn't contaminate mine,that's bad management when it finally came it was only toasted one side there was no butter on bread and cheese hadn't melted it fell to bits as nothing to hold it together, when I pointed this out I was asked if I wanted another one, well no I didn't have time as I was with a walking group but they didn't offer a refund.

We visited High Lodge in October half term. It wasn't too busy. Great playgrounds and we enjoyed the music trail.

We booked the Halloween archery in advance and it was fantastic. Kids are 5 and 8 and Leigh was fantastic with supporting them and teaching them how to do it. One thing I couldn't understand was why we all got 6 arrows to shoot each time, whereas the other family doing it at the same time as us got 9 arrows to shoot each time. Didn't seem particularly fair, but that aside, we really enjoyed it. Particularly shooting pumpkins and zombies. Would recommend and do again.

Our company paid £288 in parking fees (6 coaches) We brought in over 600 school children and 20 plus teachers and assistants and they wouldn't offer us a free cup of coffee.

All schools are aware of this fee and this should be discussed with them prior to the visit. This was our 4th visit to High Lodge and each time we're always so glad we came.
There are plenty of playgrounds and activities dotted around the park to keep our 3y.o daughter engaged!
A special hats off to the Zog trail team! We had a brilliant time collecting the stars on the augmented reality app, and felt compelled to write a review to say thank you!

Our only recommendation would be to have clearer directions on what to do with rubbish/finished trays at the cafe. Lots of families seemed confused and left them on the tables, and lots of litter ended up blowing around.

We took our 5 year old grandson because we had heard that the playground facilities were really good. Yes, there was some good equipment but very spread out making it difficult to keep an eye on our grandson. We normally take him to Sandringham and he really loves it there. That's where will go in future and the parking charge won't make me wince so much now having been fleeced at High Lodge!

Just bad. Cheap and lacking quality. We cycled to the cafe. The carrot cake, dry and really poor. A large portion - not necessary really. Even the coffee appeared watered down compared to the same brand served at Elveden. Sorry, but where everyone is struggling with cost of living, half the portion and increase the quality of the product.

Don’t get me wrong, this place is beautiful and the walk was wonderful. However what was not wonderful was the £12 car park fee for just over 3 hours!!! We get that they have to upkeep the Forrest but charging people stupid prices just to walk in a forest and on top of any other activities they have booked is really bad! They want more people to enjoy walking in the forests but at these prices we won’t be back just to park our car!

It’s a wonderful day out. I don’t mind paying the parking if we spent the day there and that’s all you’re paying for. However, we visited just to go on GoApe and the car park fees are ludicrous on top of the already extortionate prices.

£12 for 3 hours 6 minutes.

It puts me off returning.

The high lodge experience in great, lovely place and great for kids and adults of all ages. We have even taken our eighty plus parents with mobility scooters and found accessible routes.

BUT!!!! Wow…the cafe is truly terrible and incredibly expensive. Seven years ago I used to go to the cafe with my then three year old son, cafe and staff were brilliant, supportive of additional needs kids and so caring. NOW… staff have not got a clue (although manager was ok ) food was cold, jacket potto was hard and filling of tuna was really poor. Asked for a sausage roll and it did not arrive. We came today with three kids with additional needs, staff not supportive, all in all a really poor experience in the cafe.

Such a shame
