Had a great day with Jonah (Damon) of Ultimate Descent in Snowdonia.
Family adventure day, spend underground, traversing, rafting and hiking/ rock scrambling.
Everyone felt safe and comfortable with Jonah and Barry our instructors who put everyone at ease. Jonah took time to encourage and work with our youngest member Michael who at nine was taking part in our adventure trip for the first time.
Jonah was instructive and easy company and made the whole group feel happy in the dark environment of the mine /caves.
Our only criticism of the day was that half our group had to wait whilst the other half completed a challenge and then swop which was a little cold and boring for the waiting group. When this was put to Jonah he acknowledged this would not usually be the case but he had been let down by his second instructor.
We would Definitely consider another adventure with Ultimate Descent, maybe coasteering next time!

Totally amazing. Very interesting experience looking at comfort and your stretch zones at a safe level. Brilliant.

From first turning up to leaving Damon and crew were 100% focused on giving me & family an amazing adventure"thank you" Your not be let down on hospitality and friendly people, All equipment was really good, "slept well that night & so did the children" We will be back,,

I completed my Summer Mountain Leader Training (MLT) course with Damon of UltimateDescent Ltd back in August 2014, spending a total of 5 days (and 1 night) with him. Damon was highly professional and his knowledge and teaching extended much further than that required by the syllabus. The course was extremely fun (including the sometimes bad jokes) and little time was wasted ensuring we spent as much time out in the mountains as possible. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! WOULD CHOOSE NO ONE ELSE NEARBY!!!
