Really lovely family day out, our kids 13,10 and 8 had a ball and so had the big kids!!!!! And loads of space for a well earned picnic

A fantastic place

We visited here today with 23 sixth class kids who have been apart since the covid situation. Such a fantastic day enjoyed by all. The staff make it even better, thank you all so much and do not hesitate to visit here

Who needs fancy .... SUPER Fun

In Westmeath, barely a stone's throw from Meath border, this water attraction may be unheralded (presently), may not have all the frills but , oh boy, does it not give FUN.
The park caters for all ages. Our two families ranged from 9 to 59 and it's hard to say who enjoyed it more.
We arrived as an under age football team were finishing their activities with a bbq and another group singing happy birthday for a 30 year... So you may not be able to just turn up... book your slot.

Wet suits, life jackets provided while we enjoyed the canoeing and jumping around and off trampoline type structures into fresh clean water.
Some of group enjoyed 20 minute walk around the lake on a prepared track.
After all the activities we were well ready for our picnic in a well maintained grass area.
Changing and toilet facilities may be basic but the fun is top notch.

Will be back.... soon!!!

Great day out

There were 8 of us, 3 adults and 5 kids aged 7 to 13 and we went kayaking. What an amazing location. The lake was perfect. We all enjoyed it immensely. The younger kids got tired paddling and happily floated around. Very peaceful and quiet, would love to have at my doorstop.

Fun in the Sun

We came here on a beautiful sunny day with our three boys ,plus baby, plus granny and its safe to say there was something for everybody! we were greeted warmly by pat and Sarah who showed us the ropes and then the lake was ours. The grounds are immaculately kept with beautiful walks and the provision of a BBQ and picnic benches are a lovely touch. We all loved it so much we booked in again for the next day when we enjoyed a day of both fishing and the water park. Many thanks to Pat and Sarah for two wonderful days, the place is a credit to all involved.

Fantastic

A group of 10 of us came to Derrymore Springs the weekend just gone and we had a ball. The lake itself is beautiful and hard to believe it was made by hand. Pat was so friendly and welcoming. Wetsuits and life jackets provided. The group went kayaking and there was no pressure on time at all, myself and a friend we're sick so didn't fancy getting in the water so Pat offered us a pedal boat, so we popped on life jackets over our clothes and out onto the lake we went. We had a beautiful sunny day and it was so lovely and relaxing to pedal around the lake. The inflatable obstacles on the water are fantastic. It is a great bonding experience and the laughs coming from the group out on the floats were hilarious. There is also a BBQ and picnic area. We are all really looking forward to coming back next Summer. Oh and Pat's 3 dogs are the cutest!! :)

Very quite, very friendly staff. Ideal location just minutes off the N4. Water slider ideal for younger kids 6-11 year olds. Clean picnic area over looking lake.
2 hr 1hr on boats 1 hr on water slides €20. However no pressure on time; really you could stay well over time

Great day out we had a Bbq, used the pedal boats, canoes & water slides. wet suits and buoyancy aids (life jackets) are available for everyone. You can also fish and there's a driving range too.
