Not many stalls but easy to get to and what was there was quality food. A couple of food trucks and people selling bread, cheese, honey, jewellery and home wares. Not worth a trip if you don’t live close by.

Hidden away in leafy East Lindfield is this lovely market. Make sure you explore outside as well as inside the hall. A great selection of stalls with some really interesting products available - handmade, retro, unique, chic and more. There are food stalls as well and coffee of course. Great for a relaxing Sunday browse.

The market has a very friendly community feel! There was a great range of delicious food and we especially enjoyed the caramel slices and lemon drizzle cake! The range of stalls was also very impressive and there is something at this market for every age! My husband found a magnifying glass with a light and he had not been able to find this anywhere else!
Definitely a visit is recommended on anyone's next trip to Sydney!

What a lovely market - it has a great balance of products, food and entertainment! Not too big but not too small, it's a great place to find handmade items and gifts, or to just meet up with friends to enjoy the food and music in a friendly neighbourhood setting. We've been to the markets a few times and each time we have been delighted to find new products and also to see the smiling faces of stallholders that we had met during previous visits.
That Great Market is a standing date in our diary and we always come away smiling!

That Great Market is very much that. A great market!
Located in the heart of East Lindfield, a quiet enclave of Sydney's leafy North Shore, the community feel is apparent from your first visit. Running into friends and acquaintances is a bonus to the diverse stalls and affordable shopping.
I have only missed one market since they started and I regretted it. Waiting another month for the delicious bread is almost too much to endure.
Every stall holder is friendly and chatty and their product knowledge beats mainstream stores hands down.
The great food and coffee provides a chance to relax over brunch or lunch, accompanied by live music for the adults, or story time for the littlies.
My purchases have been many, from jewellery, candles, lighting, gourmet food, vases and clothing. I love it all and I love that I've supported the local community.
It is an all-weather market as it's in a hall but when it rains there are some outside stalls that get a bit wet underfoot. Still it's worth the effort.
See you there sometime.

A unique market full of passionate stallholders. Well worth a visit for locals and visitors from further afield. On my first visit I had a divine veggie burger with caramelised onions and on my last visit I feasted on paella. Love that Ku-ring-gai has a local market that's on every month - tell the world I say. Long may it continue:)
