We have always wanted to experience something like this and we really enjoyed Southlake aqua park. The hour went by so fast... we wish we could have had longer! The only thing that concerned me was that our booking and waiver was not checked??? Not sure why. Also directions as to where to go we’re not given and as first timers here this was a bit frustrating. Lifeguards nice enough and helpful to younger children in the lake.

I've been here a few times now, but not for a couple of years. The most recent time, it felt poorly maintained, under inflated, some parts missing or punctured. In need of a really good update to keep it competitive. Will have to try elsewhere next time.

Sadly one of the biggest inflatables was missing! (We have been many times before) and for older kids and adults thats a real shame, i would have expected a broken inflatable to have been replaced to offer the same fun as before!?? It's called like K2 or something and is in the pictures. Just be aware as it does limited what you can do in the timescale offered. Lets it down now that is missing.

Had a good time, lady not very friendly on check in. Could do with better changing rooms as its just a container, could also do with more AstroTurf to walk on as most of it is all stones. Apart from that had a good time and was worth the money, was fun on the lake.

Had a great time here. A much better experience than I had imagined. Some people have suggested the facilities could be better, but you have to remember that this is run from the lakeside, so don’t expect luxury; we all found it totally acceptable. I would say that a pair of those water shoes makes the whole experience more enjoyable.

Great place for an afternoon out - definitely an hour of fun!
Only a few things which could have made it better. The facilities there were pretty basic, with two portaloo's and a converted shipping container for communal changing. It's also quite expensive for what it is - £20 per person for one hour seems a bit much especially as there's thirty plus people on it during the session. It'd be nice if there were more grab handles on the inflatables too, as for some people it was hard to climb up.
Apart from that I would recommend it for something different to do!

We had a good time at the Aqua park and my Grandchildren really enjoyed themselves and were exhausted at the end.
However I was shocked at the untidyness of the place:-
There needs to be more artificial grass between the wetsuit store/showers and waiting area and kept swept as the ground is quite uneven.
The artificial grass in the waiting area needs a good sweep.
Perhaps a small rope ladder or a knotted rope to assist the getting onto the larger slide as I noticed quite a few people struggling to get themselves onto it.
Finally my Grandson mentioned the the lifeguards on the equipment were heard to be swearing at each other!
As I stated at the beginning we had a good time that would have been a GREAT time but for the points mentioned.

Visited here at half term with my 12 and 14 yr olds ands they had a brilliant time,
We arrived late due to a accident on the way and we were worried they wouldn’t let us change to the slot afterwards but the staff couldn’t of been more helpful they just booked us into the next session.
Most of the helpers were younger people but they were so happy and the young lady who we interrupted her lunch rushed off and got my daughter another wet suit.
The inflatables were great fun and my kids were tired when they came off.
Could not recommend this place enough.

Just returned from a lovely time at the water park. My daughter and her friend had an amazing time in the water while the friendly staff gave us umbrellas to spectate in the pouring rain.
Great atmosphere, staff were really welcoming and lifeguards did a great job.

Myself, husband and children have used both the aqua park and the paddle boards available. We have had such a great time that we have returned every weekend for the past 3 weeks. We feel safe, the staff are welcoming, helpful and abiding and encouraging social distancing. The facilities available are good and there is hand sanitiser available at various points. The equipment is washed after every session in what I can presume is Milton. The facility itself is clean and all equipment in excellent condition. It feels as safe as you can in a park like this. The paddle boarding is great for those really wanting to stay out of the way with the only worry being falling in. Highly recommend.
