Excellent food, amazing wine, and great service. We had a wonderful lunch here, sharing several tapas dishes, cheese board, dessert and a bottle of rosé. Everything was so good.

Food, drinks and service were without fault. Absolutely fabulous atmosphere and we greatly enjoyed all our sharing plates and our G&Ts! The waiter and bar staff were all very friendly and in good humour. We will definitely be back!

Advice from a guy who was inappropriately charged more for 3 consecutive times: don’t trust them or their system, review your bills and the charges to your credit card.
Love the place, nice atmosphere, wine and food with price is above average. It is disappointing that after 2 consecutive mistakes on the bill (in their favour), a 3rd "mistake" happened again, charging more in their favour- the first one I raised the unappropriated extra charges but didn’t accept the cash refund and left it as tip, on the second occasion, I pointed out the mistake to John, who presented himself as the owner, John apologised and offered a cash refund which resulted embarrassing to me, in addition to the discomfort caused by the situation. In that occasion John approach us later to apologise, explain the reason for the extra charges- a problem with their system-, and to offer some wine on the house promising that the problem with the system will be fixed, and the mistake will not happen again. John’s actions helped to remove a bit the discomfort and poor experience on that night.
A month later, and trusting on John’s explanations, we came back. When ordering wine by glass and food the inappropriate extra charges happened again to my credit card (charging more than the prices specified on the menu as in the previous two occasions). This mistake was pointed out to the guy on the bar, including an explanation of the previous two situations as described above and the previous conversation with John. The guy then identified himself as another owner but didn’t do too much after the transaction, not even offering a refund.
By this time we were willing to finish the wine, get served the food we ordered and get out of that place.
On my table, while drinking the wine and waiting for my food, we could see how one of the waiters was going around through most of the tables seeking for who ordered the two arancinis (our order). Without any success the waiter approached our table and offered the two arancinis “on the house” for what happened before. After telling him that we paid for that and that was what we were waiting for, I asked him if this was “on the house”. His response said that it was “not on the house” because it was our order.
None of us was enjoying the arancini, the wine nor the experience in general, but thinking on getting out of that place and never come back.
15 minutes later, the guy identified as the other owner, approach us, to apologise for what had been happening, including an explanation that the “on the house” offer was because he was doing a full refund of my order. After giving many excuses and without being able to give a reason to believe in them for a third time or been able to assure that no other customer has been charged more, the finalisation of the conversation was that I will give them the benefit of the doubt for a third time accepting his promise that this will be fixed, and will not happen again, that we will give a full refund of my transaction.
I am not sure how he will do a refund, as even when I asked him what does he need from me for that – my credit card or any other thing – he said nothing.
At the time of writing this review, the promised refund is not evident to me, I will keep you guys posted…
Corollary: It is not evident that they realise that customers like us go and spend $100-150 ($75pp) expecting a reasonably good experience. It is a pity, that because of this poor business practice, we are thinking of not coming back.

I’ve seen this place since it opened as it’s one of my locals. But just the idea of going to a ‘wine and cheese’ place to me is somewhere I automatically associate with as a place to go when either I am not that hungry, or I am there mainly just to ‘quickly’ catch up with friends or I’m heading somewhere else for a proper meal right after. But boy it totally surprised me how filling their dishes were! And very tasty too! Their wines were great! We had a lovely prosecco, Aussie chardonnay and Aussie pinot noir.
The ambience is great and quite cosy (especially during winter). The selection of music could be a bit better, though that’s subjective. Nonetheless, it was great that the volume of their background music being played was not too loud compared to a lot of places.
In my view, the amount of table and its overall space is just perfect! Sadly, we were sitting at the able that was right next to their entrance door. At winter time, it obviously needs to be shut close behind you each time you come in or out. Unfortunately, if you’re seating at that table, be prepared to be THE Buttler! As you end up shutting that door for everyone almost ‘all the time’! A little tip to the business owner - a little sign saying ‘Welcome! It’s chilly out there so please keep the door closed behind you.’ would be very handy.
Our overall experience was great! But... yes ‘but’, it’s pretty pricey for a local business. It’s like dining at an expensive place in Sydney CBD.

As always it is a special treat to go to this establishment.
The staff are in training and very helpful and polite. The food was interesting and beautifully presented.

We’ve loved this wine bar ever since we first found it. Sean (one of the owners) is a great guy and always willing to spend time with us in order to find a wine to suit our tastes. The cheese boards are awesome, but the range of food on offer extends well beyond just cheese, and all of it is delicious. Highly recommend a visit at any time of day: a quick glass in the afternoon, or a full night out spent sampling the great wine list.
