Magical place with really high energy. The atmoaphere takes you back to our ancestors beliefs and easily explains the unexplainable.

Beglik Tash is an ancient Thracian sanctuary and a very mysterious, energy-charging place. By the artefacts (coins, pottery, tools of labor, etc) found in the area, it was dated back to the 7th century BC but some Bulgarian scientists, exploring the place, suppose it functioned for 2000 years - from the 15th century BC till the 4th century AD. Its present name comes from Turkish and means 'the stone where the tax for the feudal lord was collected" as there the shepherds used to pay their taxes in the form of cattle.
The sanctuary consists of many huge stones forming different parts of it but those of greatest importance can be considered as 3. First, the Throne, from where the Thracian priest led the ceremonies. Second - Apostol Tash - a huge rock, measured to weigh about 100 tons, shaped as an upside-down heart. Third, The Labyrinth, a system of rocky corridors through which the people, striving to reach spiritual initiation, had to pass.
The best way to go to Beglik Tash is by car, it is only 5 km north of Primorsko. There is a parking lot, about 1.5 km from the sanctuary but you can go straight to it via a dirt road but it is not preferable.
A number of eco-paths, well marked and you cannot get lost, start there to the nearby capes and to the mouth of Ropotamo river.
And something very important - go there early in order to avoid the crowds of tourists who can make visiting this magical place not a very pleasant experience.

Были второй в Беклик Таш, в этот раз решили целенаправленно пойти по одной из экотроп до пляжа залива Св.Параскевы (на вторую экотропу до Маслен Нос сил не хватило...)
У камней святилища народу в выходной день сентября было предостаточно, так что при возможности советую ехать в будни. Большинство оставляет машины внизу и идёт по дороге до святилища пешком 1,5 км где-то, хотя вполне можно проехать (дорога без асфальта, местами камни), но подъехать можно прям ко входу.
Экотропа до Св.Параскевы начинается в двух местах: сразу почти у входа слева (есть указатель) или за 14 валуном, чуть позже они соединяются. В шлепках и босоножках будет сложно, особенно в конце, при спуске к морю. Так что закрытая обувь, кроссовки.
Идти где-то минут 30-40 в зависимости от темпа, вниз быстрее, вверх чуть сложнее.
Вся тропа идёт вдоль дубовой рощи, открытой местности мало, так что в целом не сильно жарко. Когда на дороге встречается развилка, следует ориентироваться на голубую разметку.
Залив Св.Параскевы симпатичный, уютный и живописный. Пляж, к сожалению, грязный: с моря выкидывает что ни попади + водоросли черные.

You can go by car to the place, but if you are not in a hurry, leave the car and take a short walk in the woods. On eco-trails starting from Begliktash, visit the nearby natural landmarks in the reserve.

Ciekawe miejsce, warte zobaczenia - dobrze opracowane materiały informacyjne w wielu językach. Warto znaleźć też drogę z Beglik na Maslen Nos.

First the zone is full of flies so even if you use some repellent it will be worthless. The whole area is beautiful, is better to use the car the whole way, there is an entrance fee. You must consider that the site is small, there are some stones and everybody wants to take a picture in every possible angle. We had the misfortune to account a big group of tourists and they were all over the place. They formed even a queue at the labyrinth. Some of theme were leaving money for "fortune".

Very interesting and mysterious place. The huge stones turned out to be here after a volcanic eruption, and the ancient Thracians only shaped them and used the place as a sanctuary. There is an unpaved road to the sanctuary itself, but it is better to park the car at the end of the paved road and walk about a kilometer and a half.

Great megalithic sanctuary, really impressive! The access is easy by foot or car from Primorsko and it is cheap. There is a proposal for the stones to show whatvl their role was. The nature is very beautiful and there is a trail in the forest. Similar monuments are all over the world, shoes connections.
