Totally wonderful experience! The crew were excellent, knowledgeable with added humor. The homemade chow as excellent for a fall sunny day and the live music brought ambiance with added nostalgia to a lovely day for a cruise. We are already planning for next seasons cruises to enjoy! Thank you North Channel Cruise Line!!!!

This trip wasnt quite as expected as our confirmation said 930-530. We only had an hour and a half at the Benjamins which in others reviews says people had 2 and a half hours. For the long trip there and back, we felt an hour and a half wasn't long enough for the single destination. We rushed to get back to the boat on time and returned to Little Current closer to 4pm than 530. The staff were professional but there was little history on the way there and none on the way back even tho we took a different route back. So very little communication other than safety info when we left and before disembarking at South Benjamin.
On the plus side, the lunch meal was very good and filling and the staff ready and attentive for beverages.
It was a well organized trip but disappointing for the cost to not have more time at the destination given that it was advertised longer.

My husband and I recently took the cruise on North Channel Cruise Line from Little Current Manitoulin Island to Killarney. We enjoyed being out on the water and the staff/crew were wonderful. However the trip itself did not offer a lot in terms of seeing the area. After leaving Little Current, we were so far from shore that you would need binoculars to view the landscape. It did improve as we approached Killarney. From our point of view, the time spent in Killarney was too long. Now the folks on the cruise that used it to be with family and friends enjoyed the sociallizing. The trip back to Little Current came back the same route which we had already done. We would have enjoyed travelling closer to shore in perhaps a smaller vessel.

A great Boat Tour! Thank you North Channel Boat Cruise for a great day! The Staff are Great! Very friendly & knowledgeable. We loved the hike to Topaz Lake, well worth the hike. Thank you to Rebecca for walking with us to the boat from the hike & being so nice! The food is delicious! A very nice boat tour to do if you are in Little Current. We loved it!

Looking for a wonderful experience? This is the cruise to take. The crew are great, friendly and accommodating. There was fabulous music with David NcNab, and the food was terrific. We’ll be going on this again

Great cruise to Killarney, boat was very clean, staff, snacks and music were great. Awesome 'Nurses Gone Wild' retirement celebration for my sister.

North Channel Charter was able to accommodate our last minute request for a boat tour. We even liked it better in the small boat, a total of 12 people including the captain and Alex his assistant. Benjamin islands is amazing, the granite rocks, the views atop the rock is spectacular. We loved it so much. And the swimming after was fun, with schools of fish on the shore of Louise Island, I believe that's the name. We had an enjoyable afternoon on the North Channel. Thanks Brea for putting it altogether in such a short notice.

The Benjamin Islands day cruise was an exceptional trip and way to visit these unique granite Islands that feature in Canada's iconic group of seven art collection. The tour guides were well spoken and very gracious. We were given ample opportunity to explore and the option of paddle boarding is a nice feature. We will definitely return.

We left our trip exhausted and stressed. The wait staff were friendly however the most important aspect was that neither social distancing nor wearing of masks inside the crowded inside space was reinforced or reminded. At one point a person was coughing incessantly and neither left the space nor barely covered their mouth. More than 70 percent of the individuals on the boat wore masks. Unfortunately being in the middle of a lake we could do nothing but stand in the rain uncovered for most of the trip. Maybe this trip is fun during non-COVID however if you are concerned about COVID-19 transmission to yourself or loved ones, I would not not recommend.

I was impressed with all of our dealings with North Channel Cruises from start to finish.
We were provided with detailed information by email the week prior to our departure, including where to park, what the Covid protocols were, and what services would be available on board.
We were a party of four and had to confirm in advance if we were sailing as a single party of four or whether we would be meeting up with another party on board; this info was needed so that they could assign seating/tables. We had also been given three options for lunch, which we had to confirm with the cruise line in advance. Choices were a ham and cheese sandwich on a bun, an egg salad sandwich, or a chicken caesar wrap. All were served with a side salad, veggies, party mix, and a small dessert.
When we arrived, we were asked a number of Covid questions prior to getting our wristbands and boarding the boat.
We did the day cruise to the Benjamin Islands, which was a full day...we boarded at 9:30 a.m. in Little Current and got back to the dock about 5 p.m.
We were fortunate to have decent weather; the day started out with some dark clouds, but it cleared and we had a beautiful sunny day!
In addition to our lunch, we were served a muffin with a coffee or tea mid-morning and a slice of pizza mid-afternoon. This was all included in the ticket price, and all of the food was served to us at our assigned table.
There was a bar service available on board; we were asked to designate one person from our group to go to the bar for beverages. and contactless payment was encouraged. Split Rail Brewery beer was available on tap...bonus!
One area where I felt there could have been improvement during our outing was the enforcing of on board Covid rules; for example, we were told to wear masks whenever we were walking around on board and while using the restrooms, but numerous people did not adhere to this throughout the day. Even something as simple as a reminder on the PA system might have helped as a starting point.
The Benjamin Islands was a pretty spot. Getting from the boat to the shore was a bit tricky for some people, and climbing on the rather steep rocks was also be challenging for some. Flip flops aren't the best footwear for this stop...you might want to pack a pair of running shoes! We were told there were trails you could walk on; this would have been more appealing had we been provided with a map or some info about the trails and the distances. Some passengers had brought their bathing suits/towels and enjoyed swimming. Bringing some water for the 2.5 hours spent on the island is a good idea.
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good, and the boat was great. I would not hesitate to book another cruise with North Channel Cruise Lines. Great job, NCCL!

We"re planning on staying in Little Current the night of Oct 13th and continuing on to the Bruce Peninula either the 14th or 15th, depending on whether there's an interesting cruise we might want to take on the 14th. What do you suggest? We're seniors and are not interested in hiking

The Killarney cruise has very limited walking, even in the town itself. And the trip is beautiful. The 10 Mile Trading Post is a brilliant shopping location, partly for the view; especially for the diversity of interesting products available. Bridal View Falls can be viewed without hiking. There are numerous First Nations landmarks, especially in Wikwemikong.
