Sehenswerte Architektur

Das Gebäude erinnert an den Geburtsort des dritten Tirthankaras, namens Sambhva Nath. Der Komplex besteht aus gebrannten Lehmziegeln, die Zerrassen führen zum Hauptgebäude, das sehr ungewöhnlich ist. Der quadratische Hauptbau hat einen quadratischen Grundriss, das Ganze ist von einer Kuppel überwölbt, die eigentlich typisch muslimisch ist. Etwa die Hälfte der Kuppel ist leider eingestürzt. Das Gebäude ist trotzdem sehr sehenswert. Es liegt auf dem Weg zu den beiden gut erhaltenen Stupen „Kachchi Kuti bzw. Suddath“ und „Pakki Kuti bzw. Angulimal“.

Very important place

This is a very significant place from jaina point of view since it's said to be the birthplace of jaina tirthankara Sambhavnathji. The temple is beautifully designed & constructed. It's unique among the popular ancient temples. Archeological dept should come out with more details on it. The structure is dilapidated but looks outstanding. Very interesting site at the gate of old Shravasti city wall which is 5.6 kms long!. This entire Saheth-Maheth area should be recreated and declared a Heritage site. It's amazing.
