Spent approx an hour wandering and taking photos. Lovely flowers in the different international gardens. Saw a 60cm lizard in the African gardens! One of my favourite local gardens when in Australia. Parking is AUD 6 pay/display. Toilet facilities were clean.

Fagan Park Is A $6 To Park Your Car. It Is A Large Park With Many Huts. There Is A Large Walk Way Here With Many Nations Represented Here.
The Childress Park Is Beautiful.
There Ate Many Spaces To Hide Here.
There’s A Beautiful Pond.
Definitely Worth The Visit.
There Was Even A Cafe Along With Many Clean BBQ.
Come Make A Day Of It Here You Will Reconnect To Nature.
Beautifully Kept.
Dogs Are Welcome On Leads Here.

I regularly visit this park. It is so expansive and has great walks. Its teriffic for picnics, kids to play and walking the dog.I thoroughly recommend it.
However, Hornsby Council has at least 5 staff that take care of this park so the $6.00 parking fee is very reasonable and should always be paid. It irks me that all the tight arses that park oustide both the front or back entrance to save the measly fee. You are a bunch of scabs. So hopefully the erection of "No Parking" signs in the near future and rangers patrolling in the area might convince you otherwise.

A great open space for kids and a family picnic. Plenty of space to ride a bike, go for a walk. Plenty of electric BBQs and tables. Has a great flying fox for the kids and a educational areas for learning about nature and in particular bush bees.

Great place for families & groups. It's pleasant to walk through the gardens but also large enough for kids to ride bikes. Plenty of space for large groups to picnic or just enjoy the outdoors. There's plenty of parking outside the park if you prefer not to pay for parking.

Very tranquil and refreshing. Walked through the gardens, each area designated to a region of the world. Alot of care taken to keep this place clean and pleasant for all to enjoy. Such an escape for anyone needing to clear their stress.

I find paying for parking poor form, and unnecessary.
Park is great to walk round,lots to see. Plenty of picnic tables with shade.

We wanted to get away from the crowd this weekend and accidentally found this place. The map says this garden has ''Gardens of Many nations" in it. Sounds interesting! It is around one-hour's drive away from the city center. Ideal distance! The garden turned out smaller than we expected, but it has several lakes of different styles, beautiful mini gardens of different nations (we saw people taking wedding pictures there), kids playgrounds, and even an area to fly model aircraft (not sure whether that is open to the public or not, we only watched from a distance). My favourite was the reserved area at a corner of the garden. It is full of tranquility and totally refreshing, if one slows down and embraces the nature. Miraculous! Although it is winter, the garden is so colorful!

Fagan Park is an amazing expansive garden that covers over 55 hectares. Its a wonderful place to explore as there is plenty to do and see. The Gardens of Many Nations is quite impressive with gardens from Japan, China, South America, North America and a few more. You can visit a homestead and museum all in its original condition. The museum are open on certain days. There is an eco garden and large grassy areas. Its a great place for families with plenty of picnic and barbecue facilities. You can see plenty of birds in nature. We enjoyed coming here very much and brought an overseas visitor who enjoyed her visit..Fagan Park is open all year round except on Christmas Day. Plenty of parking available at $5 per car for all day

What a lovely park.. I didnt realise how big it was. Great spot for picnics or for riding your bike. They have really nice gardens. The lake is nice also. They have ducks to entertain the kids..They have a eco garden also which is worth looking at especially if you have kids. We got there at 9am on a Sat and it was very quiet which was lovely. It started to get busy around 10:30AM. No-one selling coffee early in the AM when we were there so best to get one before you get here..

Is there anywhere for a group of Seniors to buy a coffee nearby before walking round?

You could go to Rosie's cafe, we just went there for a Fathers Day lunch and have also been previously and the food is lovely, great coffee, good service and only 1klm from Fagan, as a matter of fact it is diagonally opposite GreenShades. As far as I know there is nothing at Fagan Park as far as food goes, it is a picnic place. There is also the Galston shops, I am sure that you could buy coffee there, or GreenShades, but
I find they are a bit more expensive than Rosies
