Went to a private function upstairs. The catering was excellent and food and drink flowed seamlessly. Staff members were very attentive and helpful. Everybody had a really good time and many commented on how pleasant they found the venue. Parking was surprisingly easy on this occasion.

Best Pub meal, if you are looking for an excellent meal with friends or family highly recommend the Grand View.

Some nights you just want to go out for cheap and cheerful, speedy comfort food. This place ticks all the boxes. It's menu caters for all the family and various diets and is roomy, light and moderately priced. Dogs can dine with their humans in the rear courtyard too.

Friendly service, very relaxed environment. Lots if energy on a footy day. Food is good. Beer and wine always cold !

Went for the rock n roll band they now have once a month on Sunday at 2pm with the Moonee Valley Drifters playing
Great pub with a fabulous vibe
The guy that owns the pub was in the mix making sure all was well, who convinced us the meals were great (I confess I asked )
We took him up on that ....,and wasn’t disappointed
...mine was steak and my friends had the fish and chips
Have to confess I stole off their plates, not something I ever do....so definitely coming back... for the band and food !

We went in for Sunday lunch, and came away extremely satisfied. Four of us - two carnivores who chose the steaks, and two vegetarians who chose the curry and the quesedilla. Excellent ingredients, perfectly cooked to order - no Brunswick hipster hype, just generous delicious food. The wine list has something for everyone and is well-priced; the beer selection is also interesting. The people who serve in the bar and in the dining are friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back, highly recommended, and well worth a visit.

Dinner at this local pub which is tucked away off the main drag in Brunswick did not disappoint. Lots of menu choices, including daily specials. Friendly service and a range of beers.

The staff are friendly and focused on customer service. Thjs seems so rare these days. The wine list had quality wines at reasonable prices (some of these I had been happy to buy in wine shops in the past). The menu was interesting and creative. There were about 10 vegetarian mains and all had been well thought out. I sat in the dining room on a Sunday night and yet there were few people there. Children were playing and I was relaxed. I said to the waitress (yes there is table service, too) that I would return to work my way through the food and wine list and she said she was impressed with the range of vegetarian options. This place is a real gem. Pity they do not do weekday lunches.
