DO you want a thrilling water Adventures, do try the jet ski, you wont had so much fun than the other activities!!
A warm welcome from the team at their stress-free office, Formalities, payments briefing and distribution of life Jackets are given at the office. A 5 minutes’ walk to the seaside.
The Team put you in a boat to the Jet Ski Spot, along a Security boat that takes around 15 Minutes to the Spot (outside the Lagoon). The boats act like a platform where you get on/off the Jets.
There is a designated circuit 3.3 KM that was set up in terms of Security, I can say that they are well organised.
All was glad to see all the security measures Taken and not to forget that the Jets has security bands, if ever you feel down it cut off the engine immediately and you have a jet that is available in case of any incident occurs or act as lifeguard.
We were 6 People, riding for 30 Mins each, I have ride both single and double, but I advise you to book single one, you’ll enjoy the fun.
The Team, all I can say is; welcoming, friendly, and courteous, Overall, I was very satisfied.
The Jets, well entertained and very good condition.
Overall, it was an amazing moment with friends and upon our return we were lucky to view the sundowner.
In my personal opinion, the way Sportcraft Enterprises is practicing this activity is that they are respecting the standard, security & law of Mauritius. I can assure you the height of water cannot Affect corals or Marine life.

Had such a blast jetskiing in Mauritius with Sportcraft Enterprises. Surprisingly enough, while we expected to go directly on the sea to jetski, we were warmly welcomed in a cosy office, delicately decorated, located in the chic region of Black River. Formalities, payment, briefing and distribution of life jackets are given in the office. Then, we are guided towards the beach (approximately 5 minutes walk, with our lifejackets) to take place aboard a first boat which doesn't have enough space to fit 5 persons in addition to the skipper. A 5-7 minutes ride to reach the jetski spot and we are transferred on another boat, this one very spacious and more comfortable. It is called the platform we have been told. Now we can get on the jets !
While we would have expected to ride the jets freely, we were told that we should ride in a designated circuit of 3.3km which sounded small and compacted to us but once on the circuit, it was ok. The limited circuit as well as riding the jets outside the lagoon have been imposed by the local authorities we've been told because of dramatic accidents which occured in the past and which led to the bannishment of jetskis in the island for more than a decade.
We were glad to see that all security measures are taken by the promoter like a rescue boat which remained in attendance all through the ride. There is also a coach who has the capacity to switch the jetskis off in case of dangerous riding. The funniest part is when the talented coach will show how to do some acrobatic rides.
We were 4 to take a single ride each for 30 minutes (meaning we were 4 on the circuit). If you're planning to go jetskiing with friends, I advise you book a single ride each for more fun (and more falling into the sea).
Now let's rate the team.
Overall, very friendly and courteous team, from the office to the crew members. Some skippers are shy however.
State of the jetskis/boats
The transfer boat, according to us, is not fit to accommodate more than 6 persons while it said it can accommodate 12 while the platform was large and clean.
The jetskis : The brave ones can opt for the 140 hp and 160 hp jets ;)
Beginners are given less powerful ones.
Overall, it was an amazing moment with friends. We booked for 30 minutes but with the formalities, the transfers etc, all in all, it took us over an hour.
At the end of the session, on the way back, you can kindly ask for a few minutes snorkelling that the skipper in charge will grant freely.
A definite must try if you're planning to visit Mauritius.
