Nice clean beach with plenty of shade area. Refreshing clear water. Tables and seating. Great place to picnic. Entry 20 pesos.

Our trike guide Reymund (09294586607) brought us to this beach. The beach was very clean and the water was shallow. It was low tide and you can walk out to the sea.

White beach with clear water that is good for swimming. On a fine day during sunset you will see Mt. Mayon at the horizon. This is the place to watch a beautiful sunset.

The beach was good. It was good staying there for some relaxing. We can even see the Mayon Volcano from afar.

A public beach. Entrance fee is P 10 per person. The stretch of sand in the area is yellowish. Water is crystal clear.
Volleyball net is set up.
We visited mid-week hence, we enjoyed the place to ourselves. Native huts, cottages may be rented. No restaurants so if you plan to stay the whole day, bring something. A mini store that sells drinks, junk food, peanuts, candies, cookies is located inside the premises.
Best I visited in Virac.
Recommending this to all types of travelers.

Entrance fee is P10, exclusive of cottage. Cottage, which is a small hut eith no aircon or electricity (?) costs ~P300 (i think). A bamboo table on the other hand costs P100 for an unlimited time.
The beach is still raw and untouched, with red to white sand and clear-blue to green waters. The Mayon Volcano can also be seen at the horizon. However, this may not be the best beach if you're looking for a snorkeling session.
And because this is a public resort, anyone can access and anyone can talk to you. I honestly experienced being followed around by drunk men despite rejecting to interact with them (and it's not just because i was wearing a swimsuit, because everyone is entitled to wear whatever they want. Even when we already got dressed they were still there). Despite this, Mamangal Beach is an okay-place to unwind without getting your pockets torn by huge expenses.

its my first time to visit this beach. its a perfect place for a picnic with family barbecue, a little bit of alcohol, bonding etc.. the place is very relaxing and we have the whole stretch to ourselves since we visited the place on Friday so its like its our very on beach paradise.
i may sound over reacting or maybe just overwhelmed but i can really say that is one of the most relaxing beach i ever visited. its so peaceful serene..
you have two options, either you stay in a resort or you can opt for the cheaper one if i recall it right its worth 10 pesos per head with no cottages and no comfort rooms, tho there is a small shanti only intended for urinating and changing clothes (without the toilet bowl)
overall i am so in love with the place. you can check my photos and see how lovely the place is. you will enjoy taking pictures and Selfies.

we just visited this beach yesterday (march 6, 2016) and I'm glad we did. This is one of the best beach. We stayed for a day trip on Balite Cooperative owned huts. They have huts and table where you can eat your lunch and snacks, they even sell beer for P32 pesos only, plastic cups for P3 and ice from the store outside for P5.
Upon arrival at Mamangal White Sand Beach Resort. I was surprised that its well kept, the sand is freshly raked and it still has broom marks on it. Before going here we bought pork from the market vendors on the street going here. They have a grill for barbeque. It was low tide when we arrived. The water is just below knee deep and it streches far, giving you a nice clean shallow beach that kids will love. The sand is coarse and golden but nice on the feet much like the sand in puraran beach. At 1pm my kids are urging me to take a dip as the tide is rising. I was surprised that you could actually swim in here. The water rose up to 5+ ft deep with good waves that came along with it. We had a good time and good swim at Mamangal. When you go here be sure to catch the high tide to enjoy a nice swim.

Another me time as this was fully deserted when I got there in January, only a group of 4 locals were there. Great time for exploring and beachcombing. A must-visit.

It's my first time having a swim at a white beach in total darkness under the bright moon and thousands of stars. It was wonderful since the water is surprisingly warm and a bit scary at the same time, especially if you have a wild imagination (I think you know what I mean).

Hi! Just want to ask if there's a water source (fresh/potable/for drinking and cooking) within the vicinity?
Can I also kindly ask for transportation and fare details or if you have a contact (this will be very helpful :) ) upon arrival to Virac going to the beach? Planning to go to mamangal sana sa July 3 :)
