Dubrovnik is not a great place for vehicles. Donkeys, yes. Cars, no. If you have a car, please be aware that you must park outside the Old Town. It can be expensive. If you plan to rent a car upon arrival, we'd highly recommend that you reconsider. Order a city pick-up on your departure date. This will save you both money and nerves.
Hi Chris -
We're located in the centre of the historic Old Town. It's completely pedestrian so if you are driving, we'd recommend parking in any of the city lots or pay parking spots near the walls (except for the parking lot closed to Pile Gate which charges gold dust)... Otherwise, there is a large secure parking garage that is located about 15 minutes walk from Pile Gate. It is clearly marked and you will see it as you drive towards the Old Town.
If you are renting a car and won't be using it during your stay, you might see if you can do a city centre drop-off. This will save you the hassle and cost of parking.
If any other questions, please just ask.
