We stayed for 2 nights as we were climbing Snowdon. Very good spot to use as a base as only a 15min drive to the car park to the start of Pyg - Miners route. The site itself was easy to find, albeit down a very narrow single lane. Hosts were lovely and welcoming and check in was easy. We booked a reserved pitch which meant we had reserved plot of grass in a circle of wildflowers. I would recommend this over the unreserved camping as people did seem slightly on top of each other there. Take pirition as the wildflowers are SWARMING with bees (brilliant to see for the environment!!) and be mindful if you have a dog with you. The facilities are basic but brilliant. Shower is hot and due to the site being small I never had to wait long for the shower or toilets. Brilliant RRR ethos across the whole camp (reduce, reuse, recycle), encouraging sharing unwanted food, camping items and toiletries etc. The cabin is ideal, stocked with every pot, pan, plate or cutlery etc you could need - pointless bringing your own! Fridge freezer, washer, dryer, toaster and kettle all free to use. Plenty of plug sockets in the cabin to charge devices - I have stayed in places which bracket these off to prevent use to it was great to see they were available. Animals on the farm are a lovely addition, loud at dawn and dusk but comes with the territory of booking on a farm! Back to basics stripped back camp site perfect to unplug from reality.
This was our 3rd annual visit to the campsite. Staying in the caravan. The hosts Frances and Mark are wonderful. The farm is in such a beautiful setting with the added bonus of the animals for the kids! Which they got to feed and collect eggs from. The caravan this year has more facilities and the double bed was so comfortable! Will see you again next year!

We stayed 28th-30th May in a bell tent, 4 adults and 3 children (2 adults slept in a tent by the side of the Bell tent) The bell tent was very clean on arrival. In the field were bell tents and normal tents, ample parking spaces, a tyre swing and football nets. A short walk away (lit by solar lights on a night) was the cabin where you can store food in the fridge freezer, wash up pots, make a cuppa, charge devices and use toilet and shower. The cabin also had a table and chairs, washing machine and dryer. There are other types of accommodation on site, a vintage caravan and pods. You can get up close and personal with the animals and go inside their pens/fields to pet them. They have chickens, goats, donkeys and alpacas. All are really friendly. The views around the site are a real joy and you can see the summit of Mount Snowdon from there. A really good base for hikers and walkers. Frances and Mark, the hosts, were really friendly and approachable. If i had any tips to make this place better i feel a second fridge is needed, the owners did offer space in their fridge if we needed it but there was space for ours. However when we went to collect our food before our walk up snowdon, another family had squished their bag of food on top of ours so our sandwiches were ruined. I would also recommend little signs around the animals advertising feeding times - this would have made a great addition to our holiday. Thankyou for a great stay!
