Stayed one night here in September 2020. The place has 4 rooms which are modern and beautifully furnished and extremely clean . The place is very comfortable and the food is excellent. The caretaker Sunanda went out of the way to make things comfortable to us .

Superb small modern Hotel in the Kataragama countryside. Impeccably clean and run by a very friendly and helpful manager. Very reasonably priced large rooms and very good dinner and breakfast View over rice fields to the cinnamon and black pepper trees a hundred meters away. Beyond are distant mountains. 3 km from the Kataragama temples and sites. Easily reached by TukTuk. The very loud and penetrating noise and music of the Kataragama site is barely noticeable at the Hotel. It is a haven of tranquility and the loudest sound you hear are those made by peacocks in the morning. Worth mentioning is also the superb orchid garden. If cold beer was available it would get 10/10 rather than 9.5/10

It was our anual trip to kataragama and we used to lodge in many different places, but this time we were guided to mailagama cinamon plantaion through one of my close ally. Superb ambience towards wadasiti kanada and full wirh natural sounds including peacocks and many birds. Rooms are very fresh with white Interior, what we like most. Wash rooms are up to date no compalins. Local food what we tasted was the most Tastiest with real spices. The service of the staff was absolutely remarkable and very well decipleniced. What else we need.... I am going ro pass the massege to all my coleagues not only local foregn too as they can realy Ecperinced the real vilage atmospher and thw true hospitalaty that you cant buy for money. Memorable and dreaming about my next visit.
