This is very nice clean peaceful place in the middle of wonderful nature. The lady the run the place is so friendly and nice to make you stay as happy. The room is nice and clean in the evening you can sit outside to relax. This not the place for party people this a place to enjoy nature.

Had the best time here! This accommodation is beautifully located overlooking the gorgeous doi luang chiang dao. Not only is the house, garden and view perfect but the host and her sons really are so kind and helpful! They helped us get back and forth from the bus station as well as renting motorbikes and much more. The stay is however a little far away frim the center so you really do need to rent a motorbike or bicycle whilst here, unless you just want to chill in one of the hammocs with a good book. And Chiang Dao itself is pretty spread out. For example: to get to the hotsprings or a pretty cafe (I reccomend the Doiluang Crayfish Farm to Cafe. Prettiest cafe I’ve been to!) you need to drive/bike (or walk for an hour). When people said they wished they had stayed longer I took it with a grain of salt but now i get it! I stayed here 3 nights and would absolutely loved to stay longer (5 nights would have been perfect for me). I would reccomend this stay to anyone going to North Thailand, heck this is the best stay I’ve been at my two weeks travelling North Thailand!…

After a few weeks in Chiang Mai, we were looking for some peacefulness and ended up in Chiang Dao. We've booked the bungalow at Serenity 1, such a good surprise. The place is much nicer that the pictures, clean, spacious (and with AC!), we couldn't ask for more ! The host is so friendly and helpful, we'll definitely recommend or go back again !

Our stay at Serenity1 Homestay was our home away from home. My husband & I stayed in a family bungalow, which had everything we needed. The host P' Naree, was brilliant, very friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout our whole stay. It is a beautiful, peaceful location, with a clear view of Doi Luang Chiang Dao, mountain. The property also has a gorgeous garden that you can relax, or eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner in. We loved every second of our stay there and hope to visit again in the near future.

Wonderful hosts, picked us up, drove us back, and took us for a drive around the area, deposited us at a really good restaurant, and picked us up from there afterwards - above and beyond! The room was large and spotless with satellite TV, microwave and cooking facilities, AC and a fan, Porch and hammock and lovely views, in a large garden setting with views of the mountain. Total and absolute peace and quiet. A real find, and a great bargain. Nothing we didnt like - but you really have to have some sort of transport as the only thing within walking distance is an (apparently) really good cocktail bar and cafe (the ding ding dong bar), and a little massage place. Two pushbikes are on offer, and it is only around 6 ks to the caves etc, but its best to hire a scooter or drive yourself to the nearby sites or organise day trips.…
