Though very near to Tenjin station, its located inside a narrow lane and is not worth of money. Interiors are excellent. Great suite rooms. They offer an additional bedding (a tatami mat with a bedding). Smoking is strictly prohibited. No room service is there in night. Good for relaxing but one does not visit Tenjin for relaxing rather there are many places to visit and a drastic nightlife. I stayed here with my wife for one night after visiting fukuoka. Nearby places to visit are Ohorikoen, Fukuoka Castle, Momochi Beach, Fukuoka Tower and Kushida Shrine. Its good for backpackers or people on low budget.

The only reason I have even rated this hotel was for it's location which is in the back streets just off the main shopping area. Just to let you know If you are driving it is an actual street it's on not a footpath so you can legally drive down it, parking is 1,500yen a day and is limited so please book in advance. Check in is 5pm which seems a bit on the late side but you can pay an extra 1,000 yen per hour to go in earlier, which we did. Photos showed a kitchen which in reality was a widening of the hallway with a hot plate, sink and fridge. After two weeks of hotel and restaurant foods I thought I might cook but as there's no pots or pans....now I know why the hotplate was covered in dust. Bathroom was usable but had hair in the bath. Bed was a small double which I have doubts about how clean it was as I found a long black hair on the sheet when I lifted the doona. Also I suggest the hotel invest in some mattress protectors as I could see through the sheets to some rather large stains. The WiFi didn't work and when we went to use the washing machine that didn't work either. Not sure what the nationality the desk clerk was I don't think Japanese, not very helpful. You're probably asking why didn't they shift hotels? well my husband wanted to but I'm a bit on the tight side and as the hotel was booked as being non refundable and we were only there a few nights I put up with it, but never again! BEWARE!!!…

Well to be honest I didn't pick this hotel. It was the hotel management messed up with my booking and they offered me to stay in this one at the end. They said the normal rate is 33,000 JPY... As you can see from the pictures it is only a <200 sq. ft. room with no TV, not working table and chair. I was put on the ground floor which means everyone on the street could see me. Check in and out time is also ridiculous - 5 pm for check in and 10 am for check out. The location is great on the other hand. If you enjoy city / shopping experiences.
