I think so! This location is very geared to divers, so maybe more at the pool. Or he can snorkel it is quite wonderful!
is this a true all inclusive resort? breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks? how is the beach? is it rocky? hard waves crashing? and how is the food?

It is a true all-inclusive - and the food is horrible. Every meal is buffet only. There is one restaurant which is open certain hours for breakfast, closes then reopens for lunch, ditto for dinner. Drinks are OK (we paid extra to get premium drinks). As to snacks - there is only combos & that type of thing at the gift shop. Hubby ate breakfast & most days lunch at the resort but then we'd eat dinner elsewhere. I got items from the grocery to eat for lunch. HOWEVER - if a beach and snorkeling is your prime factor in picking a resort, the Plaza Resort is the best on the island. We did a one day pass at Harbour Village Beach Club to see if we'd want to stay there the next time. Their beach is also great but the snorkeling off the beach doesn't compare and the snorkeling area is much smaller. I really wouldn't want to go beyond the roped off area because there is a lot of boat traffic. The beach at the Plaza is huge, all smooth sand and it is easy access to the water. You can enter via the pier or near the restaurant but we normally just entered from the beach. It's not a sandy entry from the beach but there is an entry area where the rocks are worn down and easy to walk on and the water is shallow. The reef runs right along the beach and the snorkeling is fantastic just right there. I've snorkeled on many islands over the last 25 years and the snorkeling area off the Plaza Resort is 1 of my 2 favorites. Our trips to the Plaza have been in Jan/Feb and there have never been huge waves. The Plaza sits in a calm area. Warning: do take a lot of bug spray with you if you plan on sitting outside your room. I don't know if biting bugs are as bad on the 2nd floor, but the lower levels have a lot of plants by them and I think this contributes to the problem. The resort is not what I'd call high class, it's older and a bit worn, but the rooms have been remodeled and they are very nice. I really liked it the other times we have stayed there because of the beach & snorkeling but I'm not sure if I would stay again because of the food situation.
I saw that you sell daypass do we have to call ahead to reserve it?
What is the price for adults and kids under 18?
Does your resort provide paddleboard or kayak?
Thank you for your answer.

Apparantly you are misinformed, I have nothing to do with daypasses. I was just a guest in the Plaza Resort.
For all other questions I refer to the Pl aza R directly.
