Some of the Royalwood Golf course workers also live at the RV site. They are allowed to play speed golf in the afternoon when they get off work.they bounce around from hole to hole on the course [ beware the red power cart] and will hit golf balls into you. If you ask them why they hit into you, they will go into School Yard bully mode and play thru you without asking. These sound like the people who run the R.V. lot. Don't bother complaining to Dan the golf course manager because he will just say no refunds and go hide in the basement of the pro shop. I asked for a refund on my yearly pass and was refused. Complained to Better Business Bureau and was told I should contact the police. Golf here at your own risk!

Tried calling them all day to say we would be in a little late (8pm) left multiple voice messages and - nothing. Arrived at 8 and no one was around... tried calling again.... nothing. Finally gave up and got an RV spot down the road. We went in to see about a refund and the guy flew off the handle demanding we leave the office or he would call the cops. We stayed and said he could call them.... he seemed to calm down and eventually told us we should have know where to pull into and it was going to cost us 50%. WHAT A JOKE !!! NEVER GO TO THESE GUYS unless you want some bi-polar guy yelling at you for you asking for simple basic service ! Also the place looks like a trailer park trash site.... nothing like the pics of the nice golf course they should online.

We deduced to do this course while our regular venue was closed. Friendly staff with excellent green fee prices especially for seniors. The course greens is in good shape, the fairways are average and tee boxes a bit below. It is a long challenge for most players with unique and interesting holes. We will go back.

There is nothing royal about this RV parking lot, except a royal waste of money. It is also in no way, shape or form anything close to a resort. That’s total false advertising; it’s closer to a LAST resort. It is a small, overcrowded gravel lot with uneven sites, rocky patches of withering grass and everyone stacked more tightly together than soup cans on a Walmart shelf. You can reach out your RV window and touch the window of the trailer next door. There are no designated parking spaces for cars so everyone parks willy-nilly. It leaves little room to manoeuvre a trailer larger than about 25 feet. You have to ask every neighbour to move their vehicles out of the way in order to make the tight turns without hitting anyone or anything. (some of them are rude as hell full-timers and won’t comply) The water pipes are situated so low to the ground you could easily run over them, or as in my case, your rig will block access to the pump handle because you have to back in as far as possible to avoid getting hit by passing cars. The shared bathrooms are small, cold and damp and in addition to cutting the heat, they also skimp on cleanliness – filthy toilets, clogged vents and zero hand soap. You have to pay for the showers. The laundry room’s washing machines are tiny and all smell like mildew. There was petty theft going on while I was there, and I personally had a rug stolen from the drying rack in the laundry room. There was also a drug overdose in the park – the very young girlfriend of the scary park owner’s equally scary son. Just lovely. There are absolutely zero amenities, not even a dog run. Bring earplugs, as the constant, eardrum-throbbing noise from the traffic on TCan highway, literally a stone’s throw away, never, ever stops. The Wifi never worked, ever. One time it made a feeble attempt to log on but watch out- it has invalid certificates and a generic and tried to redirect me to a private network with the owner’s son’s name. The owner’s son is the front desk clerk and mean and crazy as a bag of senile cats. This rude kid sits in the back room of the office staring at a computer screen all day and intermittently yells at clients to “get out” and “stop bothering me”. He will morph from a vacant, giggling schoolboy to a screaming monster in seconds. It’s like being in the making of “Silence of the Lambs”. The night I arrived he guided me poorly into a tight spot in the dark which ultimately blocked my water access, then blamed the lack of water access on me. His moods turn from high and happy to hostile and threatening in mere seconds for no reason other than you ask him to write down the Wifi password (this actually happened). He gets into unprovoked rages and is more concerned about creating song playlists and surfing the net while on duty than helping the customers who walk into the office. . A woman standing behind me with a young child later told me to avoid him as much as possible, that both he and his father were “nasty, scary and unpredictable”. She was right. Father was also a yelling banshee, screaming at residents for the smallest things and turning from smiling to completely enraged in seconds for no apparent reason. Looks like mental health issues run in the family. Best advice is to stay away from this madhouse completely no matter how broke and desperate you are – go to Walmart or head down the road to pretty, peaceful Cottonwood Meadows.

We had booked a reservation at Royalwood RV in early July for a one night stay in early August. As with most other parks I was booking with for our planned trip, I gave them my Mastercard number to hold the reservation. We had mechanical problems on our trip and could not make the reserved date. I phoned and left a message to cancel a week before the reserved date. After returning home, I noticed a charge of $42 on my MasterCard. I phoned and talked to John the Manager and explained the situation. He told me they have a no refund policy. I then told him I had phoned and cancellad at 3 other parks with no problem, whereas he became rude and said "I don't care" and hung up. This is not a park you want to go to, obviously they do not care about people, just money.
