Wonderful hotel, nice, clean, comfortable rooms. Excellent menu, food is quality, fresh and tasty. Lovely, welcoming staff. Been here 3 times and it's always been perfect and clean. Good location and close to the city

The rooms are cosy, very clean and the decor is lovely. The reception is lovely and the staff are friendly and very professional at their job. In our room which was a double only two hand towels and one bath towel were left and one phial of shower gel/shampoo. We ordered dinner as part of the deal which was to be in Oscars Restaurant but it was closed so we were shunted into the Paddock Bar, no tablecloths, no cutlery, we had to ask for our cutlery as each course arrived, our soup was cold and steak burned to a cinder on outside and raw inside, then the bar bill arrived and they tried to charge us for four smirnoff ice on top of the 2 bottle of Coors and one Coke that we had ordered. The only common dedominator in all of this is that while we were at our table, every time we had to call a waiter/waitress a different one appeared. I'm not one to complain but I wouldn't recommend that anyone visit this hotel, we were sitting from 8.00p.m. in the Bar and we just finished our dessert at 10.15p.m..... total lack of experience in the staff and needs to be addressed.…

We went to kilkenny and stayed here. The hotel is very close to the historic town centre. It has free parking and very nice staff. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast was amazing. There is also a nice pool and fitness centre. We all enjoyed our stay very much.
