We booked a family room as there were 3 of us which was large and comfy. We are so happy we stayed here. The room was comfy and the bathroom huge. Loughmore Lodge is really a special place to stay and our host Aideen could not have been more gracious. She gave us lots of advice on fun things to do and she just made our stay in Tullamore that tiny bit extra special. Thank you, we would for sure stay there again if in the area.
Myself and my sister's stayed here for 1 night. It was for my sister's 50th birthday . We had booked about 3 weeks in advance. It was all about being together. When we arrived at b&b there was no one to let us in and had to wait 20 mins for someone to arrive after phone calls to the owner.we had a dinner booked and ended up being 30 mins late because of this. When we got our rooms they were on separate floors and we asked to be together.we had no onsuite so we had to share bathroom.we turned on light in room to find no bulb working.we tried to make light of it and enjoy our night.we got back in early hours of morning to find we could not open the bedroom door as the key would not turn in the lock so we had to bail into the one room. There was no water or tea or coffee facilities or breakfast included. In the hall as we were trying to open the bedroom door ants were crawling all over the wall. I can honestly say it was the worst experience I have ever had in a bed and breakfast and I have travelled a lot. The cost was 120 euro for the night. She ended up giving us a discount due to not being able to get into our room. I would not recommend this place at all. I never set eyes on the owner till we were walking out the door. It's way over priced for what you get. I'm sorry to have to say but I'm being totally honest.…
Aideen and John are most welcoming and provide a fantastic service. Their home is a really lovely period home with high ceilings etc. We took 2 rooms for one night and they couldn't have done anymore for us. The house is only a minutes walk from Tullamore Court Hotel. Breakfast was so tasty and Aideen offered plenty of options. It was one of the best breakfasts I've had.
Consigliato a pieni voti!
