The best part about this hotel is the location. It can't be beat.
Tip: From Piazza Roma take vaparetto #1. Get off at 'Rialto Mercato ' BEFORE the Rialto Bridge to save yourself unnecessary stairs and footsteps if hauling your luggage. From the Rialto Mercato...เพิ่มเติม
We stayed here in July 2015. The location was great; steps away from a vaporetto stop and a market. We had a large, double room with a shared bathroom. We had a sink in our bedroom with a big mirror. The hotel was old with...เพิ่มเติม
Great location and breakfast was excellent. Walkable from 'Rialto mercado' vaporetto stop. You can take Linea No 1 during the day / night or Line No N post the midnight.

Easily reachable to...เพิ่มเติม
First you walk up a flight of stairs to get to the checkin desk. The room was clean but sparse and well worn. One outlet in the entire room. One bright spot was the restaurant staff were pleasant and helpful. The desk clerk was extremely...เพิ่มเติม
Really like the location next to Rialto market, public transport ferry stop, and nice bars.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Compared to so many other options in Venice not too much kitsch in interior in hotel. Nice clean rooms.
Really great deal and beautiful entrance....เพิ่มเติม

A train pass might be helpful if you don't plan on walking the trails or just want to walk one direction and then ride back to your starting point. Otherwise you don't need one if you are staying in one spot.

We took the bus and had no difficulty. There are two lines, of which I recommend the express. Private taxi and airport vaporetti are faster but more costly. The weather varries, but as you will be on the coast it is usually warmer than the main land in winter, but it will still be chilly. I'd bundle up for your gondola ride. The hotel is very easy to get to, but perhaps confusing the first time you look for it. As soon as you get off the vaporetto go under the archway and turn to the right. You should see a number of vendors in the middle of this street. Walk past the first few alleys (on your left). You will see the sign for the hotel midways down the one of the alleys you pass. There is a buzz (lions head with button below) in front of a locked door. Walk up the stairs to get to the reception desk. They are wonderfully kind. I highly recommend the breakfast.
