Just near to the center of Siena, the hotel was amazing. Very clean. Very comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Although our late arrival, the reception was so helpful to set us a baby bad. The breakfast is ordinary but still ok.

Please read the reviews about the severe driving restrictions inside most of the walled city. Parking is a serious problem, not for lack of hotel parking space but for access restrictions. As a non-resident you can only drive in the town once per day. If you drive in to the hotel, that's one time. If you were to drive out later that day, that's a second drive and you receive a fine. Your non-resident license plate will be detected from the police dept license plate cameras at entrances and exits to the restricted area. On check in day, and check out day you can both drive in and out only if you fill out a form at the hotel desk and have them call the police for an exemption.
To stay at this hotel, and take day trips outside the town, means parking outside the restricted zone and waking in to the hotel and back out. Be aware you may have a long walk if the limited amount or close by parking is full. There is a city parking garage inside the walk but outside the restricted area but it is expensive and a 15 minute walk to to this hotel. If you only intend to walk about the town or take cabs during your stay, parking is not a problem.
