before was clean room, tv ok had english channels, airco was working good and in morning if you called reception they brought free toast with jam, in room had free coffee with water boiler.
Now everything changed, tv broke down and was old, so they changed our rooms but in the other room airco was not cold, and at the back of the reasort there was an ice factory, ice making machine was so loud i couldn't sleep all night. If you take off the bed sheets, seems like the old bed from years ago when they just opened, bed was full with blood stains. They dont bring toast nomore and no free coffee in room nomore. you could get one if walk to reception,but depends on your room you stay,sometimes it was a long walk if you stayed in the further rooms. you can see it was not as clean as before and things that get old they don't change. My gf was complaining to me that the cleaning staff played with her make up box, cause she didt use it yet and there where finger prints in her make up box, and that her jewelry box was opened. I thought it was strange why cleaning staff took off so hurried and laughing when we came back from outside, anyway i didn't complain at reception cause you can't proof it anyway. Two times had to move to other room cause somebody else booked that room you stayed in, so we had to pack our things again, then i found out nobody is staying in our previous room, i asked reception why we needed to move then, they said the room was booked but customer didn't come. One time the soap holder fell on the ground and broke cause the screw was loose, but they wanted to charge me for the broken soap holder cause they asked did you push on it?? I said next time let the security guy at the gate check in all the rooms if every screw is still ok cause the security guy was also the maintenance guy. the only good thing is that price was still same 550 bath, meanwhile i found another place wich is better, cleaner, cheaper 400 bath sometimes 350 cause i was a regular customer, big flat screen! and mattress without blood stains.

The rates have not changed again this year, still at 550B, but sadly, the total lack of maintance is showing. The dropped cleaning standards last year, have gone down further, and this is accelerating the demise of this location.
Rooms are starting to have issues, we had to move due to air con breakdowns. Window panes are not all aligned to frame anymore, so the mosquitos can get in. The bathroom shower heads are not clean, and not able to stay in the holders after a few years of use.
With some new locations starting to be build, and some other places upgrading, i doubt we will use this place anymore, without the owner making some effort on her investment.
It's a shame that rather than some effort on an extra staff member or 2 for the maintainance team the place will eventually just become a budget motel. With some improvement, the owner could justify the increase in price in line with other places in town.

I stayed here one night at a rate of 550 baht no breakfast but coffee available free in reception. My room was a bungalow close to the reception and when I walked into the room I was very impressed. Spotlessly clean and very well appointed. I had a really good night's sleep and would definitely return. Unfortunately it's a little bit remote from the city (100 baht in a tuk tuk) but worth making the effort to stay in this little gem.

Having reviewed this a year ago when I stayed, I was happy to see that the hotel is keeping most of its standards up. They are currently advetising for cleaning staff, and I am not sure if this is the reason, but the daily cleaning is not as good as last time. The linen was not changed on the 2nd day, and after asking the manager we had no other issue on this. Not sure if we said nothing they would have changed???
The TV channels have beed added, but only in Thai. There is only BBC news and the Australia network in English. All the movie channels are now in Thai, which is sad.
There is a number of new places being build or already open, and I fear that this motel will be taken over by other newer places if the management does not focus on the Housekeeping.

This "motel" is much better than many of the local hotels in the area. Free wireless internet, hot water shower, good bathrooms, cold air con, fridge and TV with a few English channels make this ideal. Is very close to the main local food markets, and not in the busy area of town, so at night is just quiet and dark.
This is my 3rd stay, and will not be our last.
