Bland, dull but clean and comfortable

We decided to stay in Rangsit for a family visit. It's a long way from downtown Bangkok and there is no convenient public transport to the city centre from this hotel. The nearest station is Chtuchak MRT and is a 30 minute taxi ride away. The hotel is right next to Rangsit Future Park Mall and very close to the Toll highway that takes traffic into Bangkok. It's also reasonably close to Don Mueang airport. I would not recommend this hotel for tourists visiting Bangkok, but for visitors to Rangsit and northern Bangkok it's ideally situated. The hotel was easy to find close to a busy motorway intersection, but far enough away to escape the noise and traffic fumes.It has a large car park with plenty of spaces. Although there were not many other guest at the hotel at this time due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Check in was easy and the staff are friendly and polite. The hotel is very clean but spartan, there is very little decorations and nearly everything is painted a light off-white colour. The room was good size with a comfortable bed, good, quiet A/C and good wifi and TV reception. The bathroom was also in very good condition, clean, hot water and towels provided .There were no cupboards or storage space and very little furniture. The rooms almost feature less and are bland and are basically just a place to sleep and shower..I would not want to spend more than a couple of nights here. I would not stay here again - there are better hotels in the vicinity for the similar price. …
