We made a visit to the restaurant in our short stay in Borsec. We had "ciorba de burta" and pork fajitas. The service was very fast and the dishes were tasty. Overall nice experience. The prices are good.
Spent two nights on the property, rooms are very dated, cold and damp. You have to wait 5 minutes for the hot water to arrive, last person showering had to use lukewarm water. (maybe it ran out). Very small TV in the room, floors are uneven, the room was not heated (around 10-13 degrees outside and rain) so you cannot even warm up. Parking is limited. Food is almost OK but very long wait. We have ordered omelette with burduf cheese and it was served with processed cheese since they have run out of burduf. Many items on the menu they did not have, cremwurst for example and we have been offered cabanos instead.
The Vila is located on a nice hill in Borsec. The view is excelent. I paid for one night (2X DBL) - 260 RON, vat included. So, a good price for all the facilities here. I enjoyed: - the rooms - the food: lots of local sortiments, also for the drinks. - staff ok - the parking place I didn`t tested the WiFi, but I`m sure it was ok.
Bellissimo paesaggio, pensione ben curata con personale gentile. Cucina genuina, piatti semplici ma preparati con cura ed ingredienti di buonissima qualità. Da ritornare, senza dubbio, magari per più tempo.
For people that want a true taste of Romanian hospitality and a quality run family business, look no further. My stay here in 2012 was amazing. The restaurant was memorable not only for the delicious food, but the atmosphere was charming and very clean. There was even a wine cellar with some of the best wine I have ever had and it was all produced locally for a taste and quality you simply cannot taste anywhere else in the world. The art work and decorations were tastefully done and did not detract from the beautiful wilderness surroundings we were staying in. The rooms were very clean and cozy and the staff were very attentive and made recommendations that made my stay both relaxing and memorable. There is even a ski resort walking distance from the Villa and miles of wilderness to explore. Being from the united states, it was so nice to have some of the staff speak English and it made my stay so much more accommodating than I could have ever hoped for. This is a must stay and dine at destination that you will not regret! Mr. Patterson, Utah, U.S.…
