The location is at the edge of Horezu city in a pleasant location with the possibility of parking the car near the hotel. Staff are very kind and hospitable. The room is not very spacious and I think repairing some carpentry items would be recommended. Quietness, price, positioning are the strengths of the hotel. On top of each other, the accommodation was ok.
We've arrived at Hotel Alex based on our previously made reservation, which, unfortunately has vanished from their system overnight. It was very difficult to hear yourself talking to the staff, as the Romanian popular music was extremely loud at the restaurant. In the lobby there was an odd smell of traditional "tuica" liquor and the first impression was extremely unpleasant.
