Such an iconic place. I was impressed with this old but beautifully designed building. Great food and drinks but a bit pricey. You should book the table in advance because it seems like always busy. Next time i’ll be back and try to book a room here

Great food but slowly lost the will to live waiting for the food to arrive. Surely it doesn't take an hour to cut a piece of cheesecake and bring it to a table. Too many people stood around doing nothing. 2 hours waiting and only one course arrived.

For the outside you would have no clue what is actually inside! Located in the charming Chinatown district, centrally located to explore Sampang Lane and the picturesque alleys. Room was beautiful and unique with the various furniture pieces and tub. Breakfast (fish)was delicious . Only main complaint is the music in the lobby and dinning room was sooo eerie and the darkness made us feel like we were at a funeral. The preserved animals are not what I find amazing but I can't yuck someone elses passions. Read up on the history of this hotel...once a bank, a massage parlor etc... Enjoy your stay at this unique boutique hotel and ps the staff were pleasant.

A mysteriously stunning trip deep into the rustic French/Italian design dreams of designer Ananda Chalardcharen, this place is breathtaking! A melding of classic anthology, old-world craft taxidermy, and timeless melted goth, it’s difficult to pinpoint a real world name for the design brand. While it certainly is a soon-to-be Bangkok legend, this place will quickly make it to the supreme list of local hotel masterpieces. It’s just waiting for the ghost of Anthony Bourdain to move in. With just ten rooms, it’s continuously fully booked; but if you’re an interior design photographer, forget the room; come for the eventual fame. Every single view, from the inside of the rooms to the cafe and reception counter, is a classic photo waiting for someone to snap. The staff are perfect fits, dressed as though they were born to serve here. The food and comfort are unmatched in my 40 years of travel. The imprint of this place will live in your mind forever.
