Location, host and accommodation all 5 stars!
Set well back from the road in a secure leafy green gated plot, with views of the volcano and lake and wonderful positioning for sunrise and sunset and it's own private beach to boot.
Accommodation was cosy although...เพิ่มเติม
I completely agree with all the comments below, especially the ones about Javiera and her hospitality and the numerous birds and animals she loves and takes care of. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy the views of the lake and the little beach...เพิ่มเติม
Our group had finished a trek and were looking for a place to completely relax. The Bordemundo B&B was the perfect place with its lakeside location on a good-sized block of land, perfect views of Osorno and easy access to all the local attractions. Whilst...เพิ่มเติม
Javiera has created a wonderful place to relax away from the traffic of Puerto Varas.
Our large group thoroughly enjoyed our stay in 3 of the cabins. Each is different in kitchen facilities but all are very comfortable. We loved being able to picnic outside...เพิ่มเติม
We stayed two nights at Bordemundo. It was a really great, relaxing way to wrap up our trip. The rooms were comfortable and quite. The beach was great for relaxing, reading, and even a bit of swimming (the water was pretty cold).
We would like to stay here, but will not have a car. We will be taking the ferry to San Carlos de Bariloche. Is it easy to get into town, particularly to get to restaurants for dinner?

Definitely. There's a cheap little blue bus (colectivo) that comes maybe every half an hour and you can just flag them down and then get off wherever you want downtown in like 5-10 minutes (for 500CLP or so), or better yet you can get a taxi (I don't remember how much, but it's like 4000-6000 CLP or something - pretty cheap). Javiera can book a taxi for you if you prefer. She is incredibly helpful. You can also walk to the local grocery store just a few minutes down the road. There's a protected bike lane (but no sidewalk) for most of it, but it's a safe walk - like half a mile.
We would love to stay in your cabins. Do we need to rent car while staying in this area? How far is it to restaurants and sightseeing? . I know it is about 30 minutes back to Puerto Montt....are there frequent buses to and from or is it best to go by taxi?

Restaurants are all on the road that passes us as you come from downtown and we are 3km away from downtown. Sightseeing that depends on what you want to see, if you want to see a lot I do recommend having a car. However you can take the local busses to most sights or even arrange a tour with a taxi driver and lastly there are the tours offered in town. We can usually help you book over the phone with most of them.
Estimada Javiera: Mi esposa, Maria Eliana Montes hizo hoy una reserva para Mayo. He visto que has podido ayudar con el arriendo de coche a algunos huespedes. Queremos ir a Ralun , Cochamo y Puelo. Es necesario un todoterreno o una camioneta normal basta?
