I stayed at Jingjo Guesthouse in Cha-Am for 2 weeks with my 3 small children. I was extremely impressed. The guesthouse is located less than a minute walk to the most beautiful child-friendly beach, complete with umbrellas, deck chairs and tubes to rent at a very inexpensive price. BYO beer and food or buy there, and you can sit right on the sand and watch the kids play in the water. There are even pony rides up and down the beach and people selling beach toys. Not to mention, the atmosphere is great and the Thais so friendly. As for the guesthouse, it was immaculate. Our room was huge and air-conditioned. The WiFi was exceptional and our tv was a smart tv and we could watch virtually any channel we wanted at no extra charge! The owners, an Aussie and his lovely Thai wife were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and were able to help us organise a driver to take us to many wonderful places in the area. They also sell cheap, cold beer and rent out motorcycles cheaper than any other prices I could find locally. The room was also so quiet at night, despite being situated right in Cha'am amongst all the action. I highly recommend staying at Jingjo whether a single traveler, couple or with children. This is the place where you will get to experience the real Thailand, away from the overpopulated tourist spots. A beautiful part of the world and we will definitely be regulars to Jingjo in the future.…

I stayed at the Jingjo guesthouse over the Christmas 2018 period and the guesthouse is in the perfect location, very central to the most lively bars and restaurants but in a quiet Soi that is a few minutes walk away. The room I had was a nice size with a nice comfortable bed, shower and toilet. The owners, Peter and his wife are very friendly and approachable. Laundry can be also be arranged from the guesthouse by the owners and delivered the next day. There is also a limited seating area outside the guest house which has a large screen showing pretty much any channel you could ask for, a large selection of channels are also available in the rooms, flat screen TVs etc.... I highly recommend anyone staying in Cha-am to consider this guest house, I have stayed in a lot of other guest houses in Cha-am over the years and this is up there with the best of them.…
