Bridget S et al.: I have recently stayed 3 weeks in Expedia-booked Bangkok (Shanghai Mansion) split by 5days self-booking (with Thai Tourist Board) in Chiang Mai (which was "closed" bc out of tourist season). Shanghai Mansion is delightful gentle civilised central China Town Bangkok residence in Chinese style with restaurant, decor and staff in accompanying exquisite excellence. Do you think Thien Thanh & Hoi An would support a 20-night visit to Vietman (first time)? (mid November to 1st week December)
I am 51yo retired medical practitioner; usually travel alone except driving soft-top to Heraklion; lots of travel residence in Europe and Far East; I broke my neck and lots of other bones, in Turkey in motorbike crash; I can no longer train with Special Forces but can do most other things, just not abseil or parachute; extensive world travel both before and after motorbike crash; I take delight in local residents' lifestyles throughout the world; enjoy mixing with locals in their life, including fruit picking, people-watching cafe, street cleaning, learning local cooking techniques, meeting homeless/street people or disabled.
Q: will Thien Thanh and Hoi An support 20-night residence in interest as described and comfort?
Thank you all-end-//
