I stayed at this place on May 1st for 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience with my wife and kids.
The Hotel was full and the staff was always very polite and fun to talk to. I consider our Deluxe Room we booked...เพิ่มเติม
We spent Costa Rica's labour day weekend (May 1st) at this great place! Great overall experience. We stayed at a Deluxe room which seemed very new, modern and well equipped. All the staff was very kind and helpful at all times despite the fact that...เพิ่มเติม
My bf and I stayed here for 3 nights on the last leg of our Costa Rica Monkey Tour. Of the 4 resorts we stayed at during the week, this was the worst. The rooms are definitely in need of an upgrade. We had issues...เพิ่มเติม
Wasn't sure what to expect after reading all of the reviews on TA, but we were very pleased! Check in was a BREEZE! 10 minutes tops. We had another couple with us and stayed in a 2 bedroom villa (44B). It was very clean, spacious...เพิ่มเติม
For a resort this place is average. The property itself is really nice however the rooms are extremely minimalist and below expectations. They had no bars of soap in the washroom. We had an attached dispenser of shampoo in the shower but that was it....เพิ่มเติม
My husband and I are booked at your hotel for March 12/17 and I am packing!!
Just wanted to make sure that there are hair dryers in the rooms and if there is snorkeling available... I hate to take up packing spaces with my snorkeling equipment if it is not needed. Can't wait to get there!!!

we had a hair dryer in our room 2702 - but the outlet stopped working part way into out trip - I was able to move to the plug just on the outside of the bathroom and still see the mirror so that worked fine though a bit inconvenient. We also brought our own snorkel gear though never really used it - we brought our own floaties and just floated around on the water and used our flippers to move us about!
I'm wondering if it's better to visit Hotel Villas Playa Samara in Aug or September?

AUGUST is in the middle of the rainy season but there is a lull in the rain at the end of July & beginning of August. This is especially true of Guanacaste. The Caribbean side is solidly in the rainy season weather pattern with some rain nearly every afternoon and/or evening. August us a great time of year to visit Costa Rica if you have some flexibility in your travel schedule. August tends to be a quieter month and there are often deals to be found in the country if you don’t mind a little precipitation and are on a budget:
SEPTEMBER is a rainy month on the west coast and throughout the mountains of Costa Rica. The Pacific beaches and central valley regions get significant rain. This generally comes in a pattern of sunny mornings followed by showers in the afternoon or evening. The South Pacific and Osa Peninsula areas are inundated by days or even weeks of continuous rainfall driven by westerly winds. The Caribbean side of the country gets a break in September and October.
I noticed reading through the questions that the hotel offers a 1 day excursion to La Paz Waterfall Gardens, can you give a description of what the excursion includes.Thank you
