Right for the moment I arrived, I felt like I was at home. I was received by Ian and his team, who very quickly helped me into the "the view" which is a very spacious cottage with all the amenities you could possibly want.
My Staff have been with me for over 15 years and "Nothing" has ever gone "Missing", over all these years. A pair of Jeans and Top were left on the floor of the bathroom and my staff picked them up, to wash them. ( We do have individual / personal washing, machines ) Then hung them out, to dry . Other guests at the time had left my two ( Women Staff) some clothes that they had given to them as a, gift. I have phoned Bronwen a few times to tell her I will courier the top / jeans back to her.
I was told ; Not to, 'bother'. However ,it will be done . This is the worst "feed back" I have ever had and as per my email to Bronwen , I have noted her comments

I had asked in the first place if the clothing had been taken to wash, and was told by Ian that the staff would not have done that as they did not do washing. He has since given me 4 different versions of what transpired - each one totally different. And has now changed his story again to the 'washing' version - which he told me in the first place they did not do. He was also very reluctant to courier the items back to me due to the cost involved, which is why he has repeatedly tried to make the whole thing sound like my fault. What Ian has failed to learn in this whole debacle is that it is not what happened, but how he has handled it, that has upset me. Instead of just apologising and getting the stuff back to me, he has argued, tried to blame it on me, changed his story repeatedly and lied. Very unprofessional Ian - and you know it.
