The area is really great, you feel free and as a part of nature. I really liked the way from the nearest town up to the ranch : the country is so wide, there is so much space and silence !

Wonderful stay. Everything was fantastic...the food, the horses, the landscape and the hosts were top notch. Next time I will make my stay longer so I can get more riding in and explore the surrounding area. I had a fabulous time! Not to be forgotten!

By far one of the best vacations I have ever taken! Great location, great people and a great experience! The true working ranch experience. The horses are well trained and they have everything you need to let you have a cowboy experience.

Yes, this ranch could not accommodate a family of 12, but there were a few other guest ranches between Canon City and Salida. Not sure about their 4th of July celebrations but I did see people fly fishing at Chalk Lake near St. Elmo - Hiking is the BEST, but be ready for the thin air at that altitude.
