Excellent location for spending a long weekend in the area of central Denver. Close to restaurants and entertainment via car. Bit of train noise, but very minimal. Staff very friendly and helpful. We usually stay here for events near downtown Denver.
Its not TOO BAD if you're here by yourself and going to leave right away.Staff are kind of AHoles.i am an elite rewards member and they wouldn't even give me an hour late checkout.The WiFi in my room didn't work,the room smelled,no mini fridge.
Is there a Metro system that will take you down to the ballpark? Wondering where to stay to we could use the Metro or would be in close proximity to.

We used Uber. It's cheap and fast.
I have stayed at this La Quinta many times over the years and always found it to be very nice place to stay. We have not stayed there since last summer. It seems like the reviews have been getting worse since then. What has happened?

I have to tell you that it was one of the worst experiences I encountered and as just as the other customer stated, it was not a $50 room - i paid around $100. The bathroom sink was clogged, the screen was torn - the constant traffic during the night was so uncomfortable. The smell of cigarette smoke lingered throughout the entire hotel. When I brought the fact that the sink was clogged, the hotel staff snickered and basically ignored me. After I wrote the review of the terrible experience, the hotel/hotel chain never even bothered to follow up. I stayed at the hotel a few times when I come to town for business and the last time took the cake - never again. I highly doubt I will ever stay at a LaQuinta even, given the overall treatment.
