Shared a small house with another family. Thin walls and outside smelled like garbage. Followed our noses to the smell to find smelly garbage pile upwind by the garage where the owner person lives. Gross Gross Gross! Left a day early so gross.

We stayed for several days around July 4th in the apartment attached to the house. It was my husband, myself and our two dogs. We had a wonderful stay. I did not see any piles of garbage. We really enjoyed our stay there. Maureen was a wonderful hostess and even left us fresh home made muffins on our second night.

Property would be great but there is garbage piled up in many spots on property. Old tires, rotten wood, old dog kennels, and more. Owner seems nice enough but needs to consider that some people may be turned off by the garbage.

Our visit this week was probably the fourth time we have been at this Bed and Breakfast on a bay of Pelican Lake near Pelican Rapids and Detroit Lakes. We go back for good reason. The campus is a beautifully landscaped and serene location, on one of the finest lakes around. While the beds are comfortable, the breakfasts are eagrly anticipated. They are healthy, hearty and the presentation is wonderful. Fresh fruits are in abundance and each breakfast (This trip we sampled four of them) is better than the one before. Ask about the apple coffee cake . . . and the waffles with fresh fruit . . . or the cheesy eggs! Our family loves going and we all look forward to seeing them. Our 10 year old grandson said that being there was one of the best parts of the Holiday -- And he enjoyed boating, tubing and swimming. Maureen and Jack are family! Trust me, a vacation at Mulberry Row will leave you refreshed and happy . . . and perhaps five pounds heavier if you are not careful!…

My husband and I stayed two nights in September and couldn't have asked for a more hospitable experience. Maureen and Jack will make you feel like family from the minute you arrive. Their home and grounds are beautiful. Their breakfasts are amazing. Maureen and Jack themselves are the best part of all. We are from Southern California and were in the area to explore where my husband's great grandfather once lived. But now we would go back just to experience staying at Mulberry Row.
