Whether you pre-pay or not depends on the type of reservation you are making and how you are making it. If you reserve your room through the reservation line, the APA website, or the hotel directly we just authorize your credit card and you do not get charged until you check in. If you are reserving your room through a third party website, such as Expedia, they may charge you upfront.

No microwave, I think it had a refrigerator.
The hotel staff was good with the exception of the onsite restaurant.
