The prices are (my opinion) high. 50 euro for a burger at lunch, a beer apx 8 euro. We changed our halfboard to an all inclusive

I have 3 questions:
1. I read there will be a a renovation starts at september 2017. I plan to stay at the resort at the end of October. Will be there any big noise because of the renovation?
2. Which room (which part of the resort) shall I book if I would like to be close to the house reef and do snorkelling? I plan to book a beach villa with private pool.
3. I would need to know whati is the difference between all inclusive = islanfd inclusive and full board package. May I please get a brochure in email about all inclusive package and island inclusive package.
Thank you very much for the answers.

I would recommend you e-mail the resort directly regarding the renovations question as well as the 2 x all-inclusive packages comparison. Before we went I had some questions and they were great answering my questions. Rather be sure what your package includes and what not.
We booked a package including drinks. It was well worth it if you are planning on drinking wine, beer and cocktails and even soft drinks everyday. It is very expensive if you are going to pay for it drink for drink. It obviously depends on your personal prefrences and amounts you consume every day. Our package also incl breakfast, lunch and supper and we thought the food and buffet choices were more than sufficient for the amount of people they had to feed everyday.
We stayed on the western side of the island. Halfway between le Robinson restaurant and the main complex. Everything is walking distance if you do not mind a bit if exercise . At a leasurely pace it was about 15 min walk along the beach from our pool villa to the main restaurant (villa 78 if I remember correctly). Having booked a pool villa was definitely worth it. However, if you call reception they will send a golfcart lift. But it can take a while sometimes. If your budget allows it, consider booking your own golfcart for private use. The villas on the south side face towards Mahe, while the ones on the west more towards the open Ocean/little bit of Mahe. I liked the west side more- awesome sunsets!- but then again it will depend on personal tastes. The beach bar and location where you get a kayak etc. is also on the western side. I would therefore not worry about picking a villa if you are worried about the distance away for the snorkelling etc.
Make sure to book the free / inclusive hotel excursions upon arrival. There is only limited space available per event and not everything is done everyday.
Also check the boat transfers to Mahe from St Anne. There is only one free transfer offered by the hotel to and from the island everyday at specific times.
Hope you have wonderful time!
