I’m not sure what I disliked the most, the smell of the sewage treatment plant, or the access to the hotel. I had problems with the access several times. What I liked was the layout of our room, cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff,but it’s back to another dislike, the breakfast in a bag.
This Marriott is very new, super clean and easy to find location! We felt very comfortable staying there during Covid-19 times! Everyone wore a mask, social distanced themselves and were super friendly! The parking was plentiful and sitting area very spacious! Chris Anselmo is the General Manager there. She was exceptional. She went up and beyond our expectations to help resolve a room issue for us. She was very professional and prompt in all our interactions. I highly recommend this Marriott!! It was perfect for our family of 4 or for those traveling solo!
The hotel itself is clean, nice , helpful staff. With that being said, some corporate genius decided to build this hotel in front of the Hilton Head Island sewage treatment facility. Other than the smell it’s Ok Location , Location, Location, the suit who made that decision should be canned !
When you pull into its driveway, it is the hotel in the back. Clean room and bathroom. Disappointed the computer didn't work in hotels lobby and neither did the printer. I only stayed one night but is t was fine.
If you don’t mind the smell of sewage it’s a good deal. The view of my room is a sewage plant that had to be within 100 feet of the window. They do have a washer and dryer and they do include breakfast.
