This was our second visit to Castle Leslie, we stayed in the Lodge for 2 nights last year and returned to stay in the Castle. Although I enjoyed our stay in the Lodge, loved the room (Dick) and the bathroom, I preferred the Castle. The...เพิ่มเติม
Treated to a stay here for my birthday earlier this month! We stayed in the lodge, our room was called "grundy" . It was beautiful, warm and clean, and we were welcomed with some chocolates and a bottle of processco in our room.
Amazing Castle. Beautiful in every aspect. Grounds, views and rooms spectacular. No TVs anywhere! Staying in one of the castle rooms you have access to all areas of the castle and it's just so beautiful and relaxing. We got a bed, breakfast and dinner package....เพิ่มเติม

Please share your horse riding experience. Someone told me that the riding concession takes you off the horse and then puts someone else on it -- like a pony ride. How long are the rides (or can they be)? Thank you. We rode at Castle Kinnetty in Co. Offly a few years ago and had several, terrific 3-4 hour rides. Went we were finished, the horses were finished for the day.

I'm sorry but I did not horse ride
Hello. I'm considering staying at Castle Leslie in March and will be coming from Dublin. What is the best way to get to Castle Leslie from Dublin and then travel onto Belfast? I'm trying to avoid renting a car if possible.

It is possible to get a bus from Dublin to Monaghan. Taxi from Monaghan to the hotel is about 15 minutes and about 20 euros. Taxi back to Monaghan and bus to Belfast. Not the simplest routing. But, perfectly possible.
Just wondering if it is standard to get a bottle of prosecco and chocolates in rooms in the Castle. Having read quite a number of reviews, it appears that they come with the room, is this the case?
