We decided to stay here as we were in town for a visit to Carlsbad Caverns and thought this would be a great place for the night. We were definitely right. The hotel is nice and new and located in a great spot within town. As far as Covid precautions go, the hotel was using them but we don't get worked up if a place doesn't go out of their way to mask up we don't freak out over it. The beds were nice and comfortable and the grab and go breakfast was a nice option although we can't wait until the breakfast is fresh again. We would certainly stay here again if we are ever in town.

Dear EpicGuy12, Your review made our day. We so truly appreciate your understanding towards all of us here. It is indeed true we can mandate the Covid mask policy for guests but a lot of guests deicide not to wear them and we are unable to force them. We have again started to remind our guests if they can kindly wear a mask when in Lobby and public areas and we hope they will. So glad to know you enjoyed your stay here, we can't wait to welcome you all home again soon. Thanks.

The room is truly excellent--much more storage space than is usual even in a suite. Grab n go breakfast was ok, although often missing many items. Staff was completely unmasked, which is illegal in New Mexico. Guests were also unmasked--coming in and out, sitting in lobby. Emphasis on "cleaning" rooms seemed unconvincing in this maskless property. It gives a bad impression to flout the law. They did not respond to feedback on this.

Dear landart, I would like to start by apologizing for this delayed response. I just got access to my own property as it was intertwined with the Carlsbad, CA Home2 suites. Hence I am sorry for not being able to respond to your review. In New Mexico and other states Mask is mandatory whereas we are unable to force a guest to wear a mask. We can mandate the policy but on the other hand can't refuse service if a guest chose not to wear a mask when out of their rooms. My entire staff wears a mask including myself, but I do apologize if you have seen any staff member without a mask at a particular occasion. This property is maintained by all the Covid sanitization regulations as per New Mexico, Hilton and our cleaning standards. I hope you will stay with us in future when Covid settles, in order to feel safe in a hotel. I look forward welcoming you soon again. I apologize for any inconvenience caused. Stayed for the night whilst visiting Carlsbad caverns. Great brand new hotel, huge rooms with various amenities. Beds were super comfy, very quiet room facing away from the main road, visit while it is new as with all hotels they soon become worn out. Check in staff were friendly, hotel was very quiet. Highly recommended if visiting the Caverns National Park. Note - The review below is for Carlsbad CA.

Being stuck at home for so long, it was the best and safe get away with the family and group of our friends. We stayed for 3 days, and we were very happy with all of the accommodations and needs met by friendly front desk. The rooms were suites... so new and clean and the large refrigerator really helped with storing all of our food. It is only 5 minutes from the beach, and 5 minutes away from the premium outlet. We would definitely come back when Legoland opens which is also only 5 minutes away from the hotel. Safe and quiet place to get away with family and friends.
