I loved this place! The house is really nice and clean, and it has character too. It's in a real good location, by a free Seward bus stop, but really close enough to walk to downtown and the harbor. Mt. Marathon is right out back....เพิ่มเติม
we had an excellent stay here...extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast food was excellent. We also got superior advice on the area plus help with anything we needed...kind of like staying with family minus the drama and tension.
How far in advance do you need to make a reservation for summer season?

I sent my request just one week before... they are very kind, in case there is no available place, they would give you some hints where to go.
Does someone really answer these questions?

Did you happen to be a walk in or make a reservation over the phone? Reservations made by email get a full description of the downstairs rooms. "...... This room opens across from the dining area and depending on the schedule of guests, may or may not have someone seated for breakfast when one emerges from the room. These rooms are NOT suitable for someone who doesn’t want to face the world before bathroom rituals are performed, whether it be a shave and shower or putting on pretty makeup.
Ballaine House strives to be comfortable and casual and some guests will even come to breakfast in their bedclothes with our provided robes, but this practice is not for everyone, just as a traditional B&B is not for everyone.
Perhaps these rooms are best suited for guests traveling together who enjoy a common gathering area to enjoy each other’s company in. Or someone with a physical challenge with stairs, or someone who wants easy access in and out of the house through the back door - with only have 3 steps to navigate. Early risers or visitors whose biological clocks are encouraging an early wake up who are concerned they will wake up others in the house need not fear so. One can enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee or tea and look over the daily newspaper or quietly contemplate their upcoming day, allowing a traveling companion to sleep in. Self-assured and not easily hampered by the presence of strangers fits the nature of the downstairs rooms."
